20. Class 20 – Visions of the kingdom age by James Dillingham 2014

This will be the 20th class in the series entitled Visions of the Kingdom Age, presented for the Cranston RI adult Sunday School. These are continuing classes that build upon what has previously been presented.

Our immediately previous class addressed 3 of 7 particular Sabbath shadows that testify concerning the Sabbth nature of the approaching restoration of the Kingdom of God. That Sabbath nature of God’s Kingdom has its foundation in the prophetic nature of the 7th day of rest in the creation week, projecting how our Creator will enjoy HIs own rest in the faithful who have loved him and respected His Righteousness, at whatever cost was necessary.

Jubilee Law

The next Sabbath shadow for our consideration is Jubilee Law. Just as there will be a Sabbath Millennium, the 7th millennium, the 7th divine day in the plan of God, there was a Sabbath year every 7 years under the laws of the 1st kingdom of God. This was an entire year of rest with no agricultural sowing being permitted.

Before we consider the compounded Sabbath significance of Jubilee Law in the 8th Sabbath year in each set of 50 years… that immediately followed the 7th Sabbath year…. let’s consider the significance of that 7th year. The 7th year required a number of related issues to the Sabbath shadow lessons, that substance casting the shadows. For example: A Hebrew indentured servant was to be set free in the 7th year. This is a perfect shadow extension of the Sabbath theme of resting from one’s labors.

Deut. 15: 1-4 At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release. 2 And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the Lord’s release. 3 Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release; 4 Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the Lord shall greatly bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:

A poor Jewish person could become an indentured servant for up to 6 years. In the 7th year they went free. Additionally they were to be rewarded liberally with a stake, not just dismissed with nothing but their debt paid. We see this when we continue reading dropping to verse 9.

vv 9-11 Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the Lord against thee, and it be sin unto thee. 10 Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the Lord thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. 11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.

The 7th millenium – The Sabbath kingdom
This law is a shadow of what Yahweh will do in the 7th millenium, that Sabbath Kingdom. He will not only free his faithful servants from their servitude to the curse of sin and death, he will offer a rest to all of creation from the physical judgments of that merciless curse. Just as the sin icons of the serpent, the dragon, the devil and satan will be chained and restrained in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years, so the physical effects of sin will necessarily be restrained. There will be a Sabbath rest from sin and the physical effects of sin in the 7th Millennium. Not only will the indentured servant be released in that 7th year, he will be released with bounty. In the Sabbath Kingdom agricultural bounty will dramatically accellerate. Amos prophesies that in that day the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him that soweth the seed. Isaiah tells us deserts will become lush gardens. Ezekiel prophesies of a new fruiting plant species, called a plant of renown, that will eliminate hunger in Israel. That law of release in the 7th year is a shadow projection of the 7th Millennium, the Sabbath Kingdom… the Kingdom Age we are addressing in these continuing presentatons. This is why it would have been dangerous for the enlightened community in that 1st Kingdom Age to harden their hearts, refusing to provide that bounty to their Jewish indentured servant of 6 years, or even refuse to allow them to go free in that 7th year. That behavior would constitute contradictions to our Creator’s righteousness. This is why Yahweh was so incensed with the enlightened community at Jerusalem during Jeremiah’s ministry when they actually released their Jewish servants, but then forced them back into service. This is recorded in Jeremiah 34 when God reprimands the enlightened community, the Christadelphians of Jeremiah’s generation for not releasing their Jewish brethren and sisters in the 7th year.

It is fascinating to read how Yahweh defines this contradiction to His righteous pattern as ‘polluting His name’. This is a reference to the 3rd of the 10 commandments where Israel is warned not to ‘take’ the name of Yahweh in vain. The ususal foolish oversimplification of this 3rd commandment is to limit it to some kind of mere verbalization error, as if speaking the name of God out loud in some disrespectful fashion or just saying his title God, in a disrespectful manner was the absurdly limited focus of that commandment. How sad. The Hebrew verb translated ‘take’ in this commandment is nasa… meaning to lift up and carry. The enlightened community was warned against taking the name of our Creator in vain, in other words – casually or falsely…in the same sense a bride takes the name of her new husband and a newborn child takes the name of the father. The enlightened community at Jerusalem had polluted the name of their God by their unSabbath like behavior, their contradications to the righteousness of the Creator.

We Christadelphians take the name of our God at baptism. This is what Jesus commanded, to baptize the faithful into the name of the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. We take the family name at baptism, at that new birth and that shadow marriage to the son of God. We too had better not pollute the name of our Creator that we have taken by disrespecting either His shadow lessons or their substance.

We have to be very careful to respect both the divine shadows and their substance casting those shadows. It was a death sentence to disrepect the shadow laws of the Sabbath. It will be a permanent death sentence to all who have disprected without repentance the substance of all the divinely appointed shadows… that righteousness, that right-ness of our Creator. We only have 4 divinely appointed rituals during this Ecclesial Age… baptism, memorial service, Sisters’ headcoverings during prayer (and Brethren’s uncovered heads during prayer) and Sisters silence. If we disrespect the shadow we disrespect the substance. That substance is always features of our Creator’s righteousness.

The law of release
This law of release in the 7th year from all debts is a shadow from the same substance casting the law of the Sabbath year
Lev 25:2-7 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord. 3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; 4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. 5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land. 6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee, 7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.

Every 7th year was a year of rest for the land. This too shadows the substance of the Sabbath Kingdom we hope to inherit. We have noted that in that 7th divine day, that 7th millennium, when sin will be restrained that there will be a corresponding restraint of the effects of sin. The effects of sin were imposed in Eden when Adam and Eve’s sin contagiously corrupted all of creation. The ‘land’ was particularly cursed. We read in Genesis 3: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread. The ground was cursed with a dramatically reduced productivity due to the sin of Adam. Therefore, unless we wish to insult the Creator of the universe we can have no respect for the sceientific impossibility of the theory of evolution or its illegitimate son…. theistic evolution.

The agricultural unproductivity of the dust of the earth is an exact parallel to the spritual unproductivity of mankind that was made from the dust of the earth and will return to that dust after the breath of heaven leaves the body. But in the Sabbath millenium there will be a rest from that curse. The land will become far more productive… when enlightenment concerning the terms of our Creator’s righteousness are no longer optional. Just like Sabbath Law this rest from the physical effects of sin during the Sabbath Kingdom we hope to inherit will not just be for the faithful. Original Sabbath Law offered rest to the enlightened community, to their children, to their servants, their visitors, to their animals and even to their land…demonstrating the shadow of how the Sabbath Kingdom will offer a rest from the oppressive effects of sin for all of creation for that 7th Millennium

Jubillee Law is an extension of this shadow of the Sabbath year, which is an extension of the law of Sabbath observance which is a shadow extension how our Creator’s rest on the 7th day of the creation week is prophetic of the nature of the Sabbath Kingdom that we hope to inherit… whch is the focus of these continuing considerations. This is the glory of our heavenly Father’s testimony… the testimony that is veiled to everyone else on this planet except for those within the enlightened community having seeing eyes and hearing ears. Our Creator’s testimony is 3 dimensional… it fits together perfectly at every connection… when it is correctly understood. This is the principle of God manifestation… multitudinous singularity… expressed in the single word – harmony… or the sciptural word – peace. We considered the creational testimony of the divine principle of peace and how it is exactly the opposite of the societal understanding of peace back in presentation numbers 9 & 15 in this series.

Millennial Kingdom Age substance
So clearly there is Millennial Kingdom Age substance to be seen in the shadows of Jubillee Law. Each 50 year Jubilee was made up of 8 Sabbath years. 8 is the number of salvation and of course, our savior, Jesus – that man of eights, the six alphanumeric Greek letters of his name add up to 3 eights. …. The Jubilee pattern was 7 sevens plus one… 7 Sabbath years, which were every seven years and then the 8th Sabbath year of Jubillee immediately following the 7th Sabbath year… similar to how Jesus was the 7th in scripture to be resurrected to mortality on the 7th day and then the 8th to experience a resurrection on the 8th day – that next day- but that was the first resurrection to immortality, God’s first fruits from the grave. Just as the 3 full days and nights Jesus was in the grave is prophetic of the limit of 3 full divine days of 1,000 years each that mark the end of the power of death over all of creation… so the 7th and 8th resurrections defining the return to mortality and the elevation to immortality of Jesus on the 7th and 8th days are prophetic of the next two resurrections in the plan of the Creator.

The first resurrection of the saints takes place in the 7th day
The first resurrection of the saints takes place in the 7th day, the Millennial Kingdom, that Sabbath Kingdom. The 2nd and last resurrection of the saints will be just after the end of the Millennial Kingdom… in that 8th day… in the exact same pattern as we see in the shadows of Jubillee Law. If fact we see a very obvious overlapping doubled Jubilee demonstration identifying the last generation of the Ecclesial Age played out on the world stage between 1897 and 1967, but that will have to wait for later in this class for that consideration.

The las resurrection in the 8th day just after the 7th millennium
That last resurrection in the 8th day, the time after the 7th millennium, that 7th divine day…. is the substance from which that law of the 50th jubilee year extends. That 50th year was also the 8th Sabbath year in that set of 50 years. In that 8th day just after the end of the Millennial Kingdom all ‘flesh’ will be cut away in circucision like fashion. Death and the grave will be eliminated. Sin – which is any contradictions to our Creator’s righteousness both behaviorally and physically… will therefore have to be eliminated… because the divine equation is that sin must die, the wages of sin is death… but death will be completely eliminated. Therefore sin will necessarily be eliminated. This elimination of all that opposes our Creator’s right-ness is demonstrated in the Julbillee pattern played out at Jericho, that 1st city of the Canaanites destroyed completely when the children of God entered the promised land.

That Jubilee pattern is seen at Jericho in the 7 days that the men of war silently circled the borders of Jericho. Although the Ark of the Covenant would surely have been covered with the veil, the badgers skins and the blue cloth… as Moses was instructed but this artist apparetly was unfamiliar. On the 7th day they circle the city 7 times…. 7 on the 7th, like the Jubilee pattern of 7 Sabbath years over 49 years… seven sevens. At the conclusion of that 7th seven a ram’s horn trumpet blast signals the enlightened community to shout. The Hebrew word translated “shout” is the same Hebrew word translated as Jubilee in Lev. 25 in reference to the Jubilee Law of the seven sevens plus one. So following that silent seven sevens we have a jubilee war cry and the walls of Jericho fall flat. Every living thing in Jericho has to die. Everything that can be destroyed by fire is destroyed by fire. This is exactly the pattern in that plus one time just after the 7th millennium when all mortal life is eliminated and everything that offends our Creator’s righteousness is eliminated. Just like Jericho, everything that survives is dedicated to Yahweh. Our Creator will be all – in all … in that ultimate fulfillment of that plus one pattern.

Jericho was the first battle for the promised land… the Alpha Battle. It is interesting to consider how this battle presents exactly the opposite image to the last battle, the omega battle in the promised land in that 7 to 8 transition at the end of the Millennial Kingdom. We read how Gog and Magog will lead a rebellion and militarily surround the holy city, which is called the camp of the saints. It should be understood these rebels would have to be part of the enlightened community, the Christadelphian counterparts of that generation. This conclusion is inescapable as how could there be any unenlightened people after Christ and the immortal saints will have ruled the entire planet for 1,000 years? We would have to suggest that Jesus will be a comlete failure to presume there will still be large numbers of unenlightened people at the end of Millennial Kingdom. This last battle is exactly the opposite of Jericho. Everyone and everything outside the besieged city is destroyed by fire.
Rev 20:7-9 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Just as the Jericho battle, with its Jubillee shout after the 7 sevens serves as the first battle for the Kingdom, so this last battle of the Kingdom, at the end of the Sabbath Kingdom Marks the transition from the 7th into the 8th, but in exactly the opposite perspective…. from a complete fiery destruction inside the city of the enemies of the Kingdom… to a complete fiery destruction of the enemies of the Kingdom outside the city.

Since we can certainly see an application of the time beyond the Millennial Kingdom as that plus one, then this suggests that in one sense we should understand the Millennial Kingdom – the Sabbath Kingdom – as the 7th seven…. that 7 times 7. However in another sense the Millennial Kingdom does satisfy a full Jubilee application as well…. just not the final application…. in the same way that there were repeated jubillees… not just one.

7 x 7 + 1
So in that context let’s demonstrate the repeated shadow identification of the Sabbath Kingdom to the Jubilee Law of the 8 Sabbath years over 50 years. This same 7 sevens plus 1 pattern is demonstrated in the timing from the first divinely appointed harvest feast… the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the 2nd divinely appointed feast week, The Feast of Weeks. We considered in previous classes how the 3 harvest week celebrations mandated in the laws of the Kingdom of God are perfect shadows of the 3 divine harvests in our Creator’s plan, those 3 immortalization events, with the Feast of Unleavened Bread projecting the immortalization, the divine harvesting, of our Messiah, the Feast of Weeks projecting the immortalization, the divine harvesting of the saints at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom and the Feast of Tabernacles projecting the 3rd and last immortalization just after the end of the Millennial Kingdom. In our 11th presentation we noted some of the value in applying that 7 sevens plus 1, the 50 days from the waving of the firstfruits on the 2nd day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the waving of the firstfruits of the wheat harvest on the first day of the Feast of Weeks.

The waving of the firstfruits to heaven is a shadow of the actual heavenly acceptance of the first fruits, a shadow snapshot of that heavenly nature being awarded and there are 7 sevens plus 1 between these two firstfruits waving to heaven. We also noted the parallel timeframes between the giving of the Law at the beginning of the 1st Kingdom Age and the fulfilling of the Law at the end of that 1st Kingdom Age. We noted how it was 50 days from when Israel escaped Egypt to when Moses ascended Mt Sinai to receive the Law over 40 days when he neither ate nor drank. These timeframes were repeated between those two firstfruits wavings in the context of our messiah’s death and resurrection. Within those 50 Jubilee-like days between the two first-fruits wavings on the 2nd day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the first day of the Feast of Weeks – Pentecost… we can also observe the 40 days over which our Messiah appeared to the faithful on several occassions before ascending to heaven on that 40th day.

The overlapping 50 and 40 pattern
This overlapping 50 and 40 pattern is similar to the 50 and 40 consecutive pattern from the escape from Egypt to the return of Moses to the enlightened community from his time on the mountain with God. So Between those two harvest feast celebrations – projecting our Creator’s first two divine harvests – we have this doubled pattern of 50 and 40, suggesting the possibility of 40 sets of 50, 40 Jubilees between the first and second salvation events in the divine plan. 2,000 years – 40 sets of 50, 40 Jubilees, between the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the resurrection of the saints at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom. Jesus Christ, the greater prophet like unto Moses, will also return from heaven, bringing that Law of the Kingdom of God to restore the Kingdom. Exacty like Moses, Jesus will find an apostate Israel that will repent before him.

2,000 years
As we noted in, I believe it was, class 11 we can take that kernel of a 2,000 year shadow prophecy of the projected time between the first two immortalizations, or divine harvests, and compare that to the rest of scripture for either confirmation or contradiction. We did find a fair amount of confirmation, such as Hosea’s prophecy of the resurrection in chapter 6 being timestamped as after two days and on the 3rd day, referring of course to 2 divine days of 1,000 years each. Another confirmation would be the 3rd day after making the covenant with Israel, God came to Israel on the burning mountain and spoke the words of the covenant to them on the 3rd day. In similar fashion we wait for Jesus to come to us on the 3rd day after being appointed as the covenent given to the people – acheved through his sacrificial death and resurrection. He will come down to us on the 3rd day… the Millennial Kingdom that will be in the 3rd millennium, the 3rd divine day after that death and resurrection. We also noted the 2 full years Joseph had to continue in prison after interpreting the bread and wine dreams for the baker who died after 3 days and the butler who rose to the right hand of power after 3 days to present Pharaoh’s wine. It was a full 2 years Joseph continued in prison until he rose to power and glory when he was 30 years old… in that 3rd year after the bread and wine dreams.

It will have been 2,000 years from the antitypical bread and wine application of the death and resurrection of the son of God to the time when the Joseph-like saints will be released from the prison of sin and death and rise to power and glory at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom. I believe we also noted the 2,000 cubit distance the enlightened community was commanded to wait behind the ark of the Covenant on the 3rd day after the invitation to cross the Jordan and inherit the Promised Land. They entered the promised land on the 3rd day just as we hope to inherit the Kingdom on the 3rd day. When the ark entered the Jordan flow reversed from the mouth of the Dead Sea all the way back to the city of Adam by Zaretan (meaning distress). The waters of life to death reversed all the way back to the distress by Adam… a perfectly crisp shadow of exactly what our Messiah would accomplish and how the resulting benefit would extend all the way back to the judgement of death imposed on Adam. The fact that the enlightened community was ordered to wait back by 2,000 cubits is validation of this same 40 Jubilee pattern separating the first immortalization event from the 2nd. When something is truly right… it can be scripturally and creationally validated in many many complementary ways.

8 Sabbath years
The 8 Sabbath years in each 50 year Jubilee certainly does validate that Sabbath nature of the Millennial Kingdom. In fact that 7 sevens foundational defining issue of the Jubilee structure is subtly demonstrated in that Pentecost shadow demonstration of the approaching 2nd divine harvest of our Creator, the first of the two salvation events of the saints… at the beginning of the Restored Kingdom of God on Earth. The first day of every feast of weeks – Pentecost- is the 66th day of each year. It is always 50 days from the 2nd day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread when those firstfruits were waved to heaven on the 16th day of the first month, therefore the 66th day of every year. The year of our Messiah’s death and resurrection, that Pentecost when the 120 faithful had the Holy Spirit poured out on them, that earnest of the promise of immortalization (as Paul describes it)… that Pentecost was not just a double six, being the 66th day of the year… but also a double 7. Pentecost came on a Saturday in that year. That would make it a double Sabbath -a double 7… being the first day of the Feast of Weeks it would automatically qualify as a High Sabbath, but it was also a Saturday Sabbath… double Sabbaths… 7 + 7. The Millennial Kingdom is constantly defined in terms of 7, while the last immortalization following the end of the Kingdom is defined by 8, that plus 1 pattern, immediately following the 7th…just like Jubilee Law.

2 overlapping Jubiliees
As promised earlier, we can also see how two overlapping Jubilee demonstrations on the world stage have offered a confirmation, a sign, to those within the enlightened community posessing seeing eyes and hearing ears that we are the last generation of the Ecclesial Age. As Jesus prophesied on the Mount of Olives to 2 sets of 2 brothers – Peter, Andrew, John & James, the reblossoming of the national fig tree of Israel would identify the generation that would not pass away before the prophecies he detailed in the Olivet prophecy would be fulfilled. Psalms and Jeremiah each testify to this same truth that the resurrection of the national first born son of God – the nation of Israel – will be the herald for the return of the resurrected first born son of God – Jesus Christ.

In 1897 we see the seed of the 1st Jubilee… that first ever Zionist convention in Basle Switzerland with Theordore Hertzyl making that amazing statement:
“Were I to sum up the Basle Congress in a word- which I shall guard against pronouncing publicly- it would be this: ‘At Basle, I founded the Jewish State. If I said this out loud today, I would be answered by universal laughter. If not in 5 years, certainly in 50, everyone will know it.”
Hertzl was prophetically correct. It was exactly 50 years later that Jewish state became a reality with the global earthquake vote by the United Nations in November of 1947 to create a Jewish state in Palestine. Great Britain had submitted the Jewish problem to the UN with the full and very logical expectation that Russia would exercise its veto power to refuse such a possibility and they would then be free to crush the Jewish hope for a homeland in any way they chose. But Russia shocked the entire planet by not exercising their veto power to stop the formation of a Jewish nation. One might wonder at their motivation. It may have been the sheer joy of humiliating Great Britain or perhaps the expectation that the Arabs would surely wipe out the Jews in the resulting conflict… as the Jews had historically been hated by Russia. Perhaps it was both. Whatever the motivation… Russia approved the UN resolution to create a Jewish state in 1947. The Jewish war of independence began immediately, culminating in the cease fire agreement in the summer of 1948.

Our first Jubilee from 1897 to 1947
Therefore we have our first jubilee from 1897 to 1947… from the invitation to freedom and every Jew returning to their home to the full reality… exactly the purpose of Jubileee Law. Now, This may seem like a mildly interesting observation until we parallel this with the overlapping Jubilee demostration from 1917 to 1967… from the invitation to Jewish liberty, freedom and the hope for a restored inheritance… to the reality exactly 50 years later… 7 sevens plus 1.

The overlapping Jubilee
In 1917 Great Britain assumed military control of Palestine away from the Ottoman Empire. The way General Allenby took Jerusalem without having to batter down the walls with cannon fire … without a singal gunshot being fired… it was utterly Biblical in nature. In November of 1917, the UK’s Foreign Secretary, Arthur Balfour, issued what has become known as the Balfour Declaration, that the British government was favorable to providing Palestine as a national home for the Jewish people. This was an invitation to Jewish freedom, liberty and returning to their ancestral inheritance.

It was 50 years later, in 1967 when the reality was achieved through the Six Day War. Israel dramatically expanded its borders to the south west and north, decimating their 3 enemy neighbors of Egypt, Jordan and Syria and retaking their holy city of Jerusalem … in just -a highly approprate – six days. This was the sign from heaven that the 6th day – the 6th Millennium – was about to conclude, that ours is the last generation of the Ecclesial age, that this generation will not pass away before all the Olivet prophecies are fulfilled. That amazing victory over 6 days was right out of the pages of the Bible with a tiny, massively outnumbered Israel winning every battle quickly and decisively.

That 6 day war was the 4th war of Israel in 20 years, demonstrating what the prophet Ezekiel reported in chapter 37 concerning how God would resurrect the naiton of Israel in 2 stages in what is known as the dry bones prophecy. The first of the two prophecies was identified by 4 reconstruction stages of skeletal reasaembly, the addition of sinew, then muscle and then skin. These four reconstruction stages perfectly parallel those first four wars of Israel: the War of Independence begun in 1947 , the War of Reprisals, the Suez Canal Crisis and the 6 Day War in 1967. Our generation now waits for Ezekiel’s 2nd dry bones prophecy, when the 4 winds of heaven will fill those reconstructed bodies on the valley floor with breath and they will stand as an invincible army. The first prophecy indicates the political resurrection of national Israel, like the 4 square outer encampment configuration in the wilderness in the 1st Kingdom of God. The 2nd prophecy of being filled with breath, standing and living…. indicates the spiritual resurrection of national Israel… when the Jewish People will repent before their Messiah… Jesus Christ… being shadowed by the inner 4 square spiritual configuration of Israel in the wilderness in that 1st Kingdom of God.

Overlapping double Jubilees from 1897 to 1967
Those overlapping double Jubilees from 1897 to 1967 witness for the exclusive benefit of those within the enlightened community with seeing eyes and hearing ears… that ours is the last generation of the Ecclesial Age… that the repeatedly promised 2,000 year wait between the 1st and 2nd resurrections in the Creator’s plan is almost over. The 50 year Jubilee was constructed of 8 Sabbath years with 7 sevens plus 1, just like the time frame between the waving of the first fruits to heaven in the 1st harvest feast of Unleavened Bread and the 2nd first fruits waving in the 2nd divinely appointed harvest known as the Feast of Weeks… on Pentecost… that same day when the 120 faithful received the Holy Spirit… that 66th day of the year that was also a double 7 that year… a double Sabbath of both a High Sabbath and a Saturday Sabbath. These are all shadows of the same substance…. framing the Sabbath Kingdom, the restored Kingdom of God that we hope to inherit…. that Kingdom Age that serves as the focus of our considerations in these continuing classes.

Circumcision or Sabbath law?
Our next consideration concerning the Sabbath nature of the Millennial Kingdom, the 21st presentation, will address the two signature rituals of the two great covenants. Circumcision was the covenant ritual of the Abrahamic covenant of faith and Sabbath observance was the divinely assigned covenant ritual of the Mosaic covenant of works. The big question is which was greater? It was a death penalty to work on the Sabbath so what was someone supposed to do when the 8th day of a boys life landed on a Sabbath. Which covenant ritual had to be broken to observe the other? God never offered any exceptions for circumcising on a Sabbath, so which law had to be broken to observe the other? Was an Israelite supposed to break Sabbath Law by circumcising their son on the 8th day of his life, or was he supposed to shift to either the 7th or 9th days, breaking circumcision law in order to respect Sabbath Law. The enlightened community was supposed to figure this out for themselves. We will see how Jesus confirms they got this right but the big question is why is it right to disrespect Sabbath Law in order to respect Circumcision Law… and what does this tell us about the Sabbath Kingdom we want to inherit? We will look at these issues in our next class.
