20181231 – Monday. Warrnambool to Geelong Show Grounds

20181231 – Monday – Warrnambool to Geelong Show Grounds

In the morning when I woke up I was the only car in the Scoborio reserve near the boat ramp.

It was another beautiful day and I felt so good.

I love how easy my camper trailer is to clean up and get driving.

I went to a local cafe for breakfast and then it was on my way again towards Geelong.

I passed a signboard on my way which said “Lismore.” I had to stop and take a photo because it reminded me of all my friends in Lismore in Qld.

I passed through a beautiful town called Inverleigh.

The whole town was gathering at the local pub and sitting at tables and chairs underneath umbrellas.

I thought about stopping there but did not, but if I ever pass this way again on NYE I will.

It gets me how some towns are simply beautiful. Perfectly laid out, green grass (mowed) everywhere, whereas other towns look sadly neglected and uninviting.

What makes the difference? is there a Mayor their with OCD, who makes sure EVERYTHING is beautifully clean and tidy?

I was so drawn to this town.

It made me feel welcomed and I SHOULD have stayed there for the night.

I know they would have welcomed me there.

I thought about the lessons that can be learned from this.

They say that “cleanliness is next to Godliness,” and the whole ambience of the place was wonderful.

I just drove through the town, straight through!! But I will remember that town forever.

I wanted to place a blessing on that town.

Maybe God will bless that town when Jesus returns to the earth.  I pray that he will!

Well, eventually I arrived in Geelong at the Showgrounds.

The gate was open which is good, saves ringing and getting out of the car and opening said gate.

I eventually found the office and paid $25 for overnight stay.

I though that was a bit much, but then I enjoyed my stay there so much that I revised my estimations of the place.

I found a BEAUTIFUL big pine tree to park beneath and had my trailer up and was all set up with a tap for water close by.

For the rest of the day I sat in my camp chair just nibbling my supplies and drinking water.

I went and had a shower and the facilities were simply great.

The shower has a handrail for people like me so I felt comfortable and secure.

I went back to my trailer and spent a lot of the afternoon going through Peter Robert’s “Ezekiel’s Temple” booklet, trying to absorb it for most of the afternoon.

As the afternoon passed, I felt very tired and so I hopped into my bed and slept the rest of the afternoon away until 9 pm.

Every body in Geelong was not in the Show Grounds.

You could not find a more peaceful place than here.

I stayed up until midnight, dozing and watching Netflix, or trying to watch it. I could not find anything decent.

I noticed they have changed the layout on Netflix. They now have a button to fast forward, not just reverse.

I was so glad.

So often I want to fast forward the bad stuff if the movie is not half bad, and still worth watching.

But better still, there is a thumbs up or down button so I can go through and thumbs down all the bad movies, and hopefully remove them from my screens at all, that would be good.

But better not to watch at all and just see what Art Courtonel is showing on cdvideo.

Midnight came, with fireworks, briefly, and then silence.

The year is over.

2019 plus one day, brings us to 2020 and maybe the return of Christ.

What a blessing it would be, to be THE LAST GENERATION, before the return of Christ.

Oh, I do hope so!

So all my fb friends, and all my friends, thank you for your help to me upon my way, and I hope I have been some help to you on yours.

Love to you all.

Fay
