20190720 – Saturday – Sunshine, went for a walk

20190720 – Saturday – Sunshine, went for a walk.

Last night I had spasms in my back that were very painful.

I got out of bed and listened to a u-tube lecture by Dr Daniel Amen on caring for my brain.

I realised that what was  probably happening to me was due to lack of blood flow.

So I have a hot shower to get the blood flowing again and then went back to bed.

I slept.

So I made up my mind more exercise for me.

No more staying in bed till 11 but getting up earlier and getting on with my life.

I have been getting a bit sloppy with my food as well, eating occasional carbs which are not good for me.

So I have to keep my mind busy and occupied and my body exercised as much as I am capable.

Yesterday was my eldest daughter’s birthday and we all met at the Grange Hotel for lunch.

It was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for such an occasion.

Margaret E came down from the Barossa valley to be with us for the celebration and all expenses were paid for by Jeff.

After lunch we all trooped across to the Jetty Road cafe for coffee and for the grandies to go to the beach.

It was cold in spite of the blue skies, but nobody told the grandies who ran around in minimal clothing in spite of the cold.

I went for a walk along the Jetty and sat on a bench for half an hour.

The wind was blowing from behind and so my hair became fixed upright from my head.

I love the sea and I particularly love this beach.

Eldest daughter had forbidden me to take photos to put up on fb, which I think is a shame because I like to mark life’s milestones in “my story.”

But never mind, another time.

I took one photo of the back view of two daughters sitting side by side on the beach, so that will have to serve to mark the occasion.

While I was sitting on a bench at the shopping centre this morning a man rode up on his bike and then sat down opposite me.

He said he had been a butcher during his working life and had really loved it.

I can’t imagine a life filled with chopping up meat as a way to make a living but each to his own.

Jeff is not well today – he has a bad cold so I will have to walk all the way home again, groan.
