Class 7 Visions of the Kingdom Age by Jim Dillingham

Class 7 – Visions of the Kingdom Age

This is the 7th class in the Visions of the Kingdom Age series. We left off in our last class beginning a consideration of how the 3 annual harvest feast weeks under the laws of the 1st Kingdom of God perfectly project the 3 immortalizations in the divine plan for creation, the three divine harvesting events where the Creator will reap where he has sown the seed of His gospel, his eternal truths, principles & righteousness.

Due to the question presented in our previous class we are going to make a side note concerning how our heavenly Father is currently communicating and how that will dramatically change at the introduction of the restored Kingdom Age… and how that is prophetically presented in scripture.

As we continue our considerations in the weeks to come we will see how the prophetic language and creational terms which are features of the natural order are used the same way in a variety of applications, offering insight into how all these issues are inter-related. So let’s address that question of the current status of the divine communication pattern.
As we have noted, our heavenly Father communicates exclusively with an intentional complexity pattern using shadows, parables, carefully worded historical events that can serve as prophecies, creational features and rituals that are all demonstrations and expressions of His righteousness.

This intentionally complex divine communication policy also constituted our Messiah’s counterintuitive teaching pattern to the enlightened community to whom he was commissioned to preach… in other words ‘to the Christadelphians of his generation’ – which was the Jewish nation.

Jesus only explained those intentionally complex communications privately with the disciples who followed him. This intentionally complex communication procedure is designed to give more to those who already have.. while simultaneously taking away from those who have not, as Jesus explained to his curious disciples when they asked why he taught in such a confusing manner.

Shadows, parables, rituals… have to be interpreted. Those who ‘have not’ will have what little true understanding they have -taken away -. Those who ‘have’ will get more. The key is a circumcised heart… something that is completely absent from the unenlightened community and historically only infrequently seen even within the enlightened community. So within this communication framework pattern we should consider how we know, we know… God is currently silent in His communications today and when He will end that silence.
There is a period of self-imposed divine silence prophesied in these two places:

Micah 3:6-7 Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; And it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; And the sun shall go down over the prophets, And the day shall be dark over them. Then shall the seers be ashamed, and the diviners confounded: Yea, they shall all cover their lips; For there is no answer of God.
Amos 8:11-12 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, That I will send a famine in the land, Not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, They shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not find it.
These references are – oddly – sometimes mistakenly applied to the time between the Old and New Testaments. That is an absolutely impossible conclusion. The actual period of divine silence being prophesied begins with the 2nd and final generation of Brethren and Sisters dying off that had possessed the Holy Spirit gifts awarded to them by the laying on of the hands of an Apostle… the last of that 2nd generation of the enlightened community at the beginning of the Ecclesial Age that had been promised these gifts. Peter only promised those miraculous gifts to two generations of Jews and Gentiles in Acts 2:38-39 (the Jews and their children and those afar off, meaning the Gentiles). Paul prophesied the gifts would disappear when that which is perfect would replace them, indicating how the completed Bible would eliminate the need for the gifts of the Holy Spirit, perfectly matching the end of that 2nd generation that was promised access to the powers of the Holy Spirit. That period of divine silence ends with the introduction of the Millennial Kingdom.

This is also the time between the early and the latter rains that defines the two outpourings of the word of God in three applications: the written word, the word made flesh and the word exercised in power.
We know for a certainty that this long period of prophesied divine silence ends with the introduction of the Millennial Kingdom because this is exactly what Isaiah prophesies, even using language that subtly blends with our understanding of how the process of immortalization is repeatedly defined as a birth and particularly a rebirth.

That prophecy about the ending of a long period of divine silence contains an interesting reference to this 2nd birth and the two purposes for Christ’s return… 1. divine vindication and 2.salvation for the faithful.
This is found in Isaiah 42, which constitutes a very powerful prophecy of the introduction of the Millennial Kingdom.

This is our theme… Visions of the Kingdom Age.

For this exercise we will focus on verses Isa 42:13-14. However we need to establish the Kingdom context. That is easy. Verse Isa 42:1 speaks of God’s servant bringing forth judgment to the Gentiles, something Jesus has not yet done.

Isa 42:4 prophesies how the Messiah will set judgment in the earth and the nations will wait for his law.

Isa 42:12 declares how the glory of Yahweh will be declared from the top of the mountains and to many nations.

Isa 42:15-17 declare how Yahweh will enlighten the Jews and

Isa 42;20 declares how He will magnify the Law, referring to Kingdom Law as this will be done in the restored Kingdom. In the middle of all this we see Isa 42:13,14 that reads:

The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.
At the time just before the introduction of the Millennial Kingdom God will still be holding His peace, being still and refraining Himself … having done so for a very long time.

He defines the ending of that self-imposed silence in two ways that demonstrate that appropriate 2-fold purpose of Christ’s return.

God compares the ending of His silence to the screams of a charging soldier who prevails over his enemies. This defines the role of Christ as the lion of the tribe of Judah, and how he and the immortalized saints will destroy and devour at once… such as the Gogian gang of six at Jerusalem and the extensive global earthquakes. This demonstrates the vindication of our Creator, the shift from absolute silence to the scream of a charging soldier. This will facilitate the shift from a divine policy of voluntary enlightenment to mandatory enlightenment. After all, the fear of the Lord is always the beginning of knowledge… at least true knowledge, anyway.

The second parallel is to a travailing woman, a woman in the process of giving birth. This is a reference to the other purpose in the return of Christ… the salvation of the saints… that 2nd birth or immortalization. Our God is not simply looking for 1 or two loud sounds to give us an impression of the difference from silence to loudness. Our Creator is not like us. That is what we would do. He communicated with much, much more depth. The silence ending divine screams demonstrate themes that flow through both the surface of scripture and below the surface, also binding the two avenues of divine testimony… the written word and the spoken word of God… the Bible and Creation. It is when God ends His silence that this divine birthing is scheduled.
This timing and expression of the transition from divine silence to extreme divine volume depicts the time when our Creator will no longer accommodate the foolishness of the self-worshipping delusions of the unenlightened, and will no longer accommodate the endless polluting leavening within the enlightened community.

Enlightenment will no longer be optional.

Accept the truth of the matter or die… respect the Creator’s righteousness or die… forever. What we particularly should realize is that this glory of our Creator that will be demonstrated so powerfully to the abundant fools of this world.. is currently available for the wise to witness, those with seeing eyes and hearing ears. That glory is always there, but it is invisible to most.

It doesn’t have to be invisible to us.

The point of everything is to understand, appreciate and value above everything our Creator’s right-ness. That right-ness, that righteousness, the glory of that righteousness is always being radiated in endless ways that are perfectly complimentary… but through that filter of intentional complexity … that only gives to those who already have – meaning a circumcised heart, that meekness that defined Moses, making him the one man in his generation to whom Yahweh could communicate without using the dreams, visions and dark sayings He used with every other prophet.
So, in reference to that question being addressed as to when the period of God’s silence would begin and end…. We are at the point in our progressive thoughts where we are considering the testimony of the 3 harvest feast week celebrations that project the 3 divine harvestings in the plan of God where Yahweh has and will harvest from mankind the matured fruit from which His seed has and is developing. The feast of Unleavened Break projects the immortalization of our Messiah… exclusively, but also in the larger sense, it serves as a qualifier for all other immortalizations. This is why it will still be observed during the Millennial Kingdom.

We were considering the feature of the High Sabbath at the beginning and end of this feast week, that alpha and omega Sabbath application… and paralleling it to the fact that the death of our Messiah over those 3 nights and 3 days that he testified he would be dead… that there was a Sabbath on both the first and last days, exactly like the Feast of Unleavened Bread that had a High Sabbath on the first and last days of the feast.

The first day of our Messiahs death was a High Sabbath, that first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread immediately following Passover on the 14th day of the first month.

The last day of his death was a Saturday Sabbath, as the angel in Matthew testifies Jesus had already risen just before the end of that Saturday Sabbath… just as he had died on Passover just before that first High Sabbath of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, as we read in John 19:31.
In that context we are going to pursue this understanding of the timeline of our Messiah’s death and resurrection as it has a great deal to do with the abundant shadows of his death and resurrection and what that means to us and all of creation.

As always, when we understand the truth of any matter… we can begin to see so much more, we will be empowered to take divine light out of the darkness, just like our Creator’s first creative act. Our vision should not be one dimensional -which is simply linear thinking from one point to another…. but should be three dimensional, seeing the height, width and depth in the two forms of our Creator’s communication… both written and spoken… the Bible and creation. There is a great deal more to see, more hidden glory to witness, once we get this right about the 3 nights and 3 days of our Messiah’s death.
Just as a further emphasis of this 3 day and 3 night stipulation by Jesus, we find this is exactly the prophetic pattern offered as he hung on the cross… or stake if you happen to prefer that understanding. Personally, I prefer to understand he was crucified on a cross.. which was a significant religious symbol of the Romans that they inherited from Babylon, an appropriate symbol of apostasy and the flesh and sin that Jesus was defeating in his crucifixion. Anyway Jesus was being crucified for a very appropriate 6 hours
We read in Mark that Jesus was crucified at the 3rd hour of the day.

Mark 15:24 And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take. 25 And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.

We read in Matthew that a night-like darkness covered the land from the 6th hour to the 9th hour, when Jesus died. Matt 27:45-50

Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. 46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? 47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias. 48 And straightway one of them ran, and took a spunge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. 49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him. 50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the spirit.
So the 6 hours of our Messiah’s crucifixion were separated, interestingly by 3 hours of daylight and 3 hours of darkness…. just like he prophesied about the term of his death being 3 days and 3 nights. This is not some coincidence. This is part of a scripture wide pattern, hidden for the exclusive benefit of those within the enlightened community with seeing eyes and hearing ears.
Jesus died just before a high Sabbath … on a Wednesday afternoon, which was Passover in year 30 of the Common Era. As always when something is true – really true – there are many ways to prove that…. without having to rely on lexicon word juggling or creative theories that are scripturally unsound… like the odd suggestion that any part of a day represents the entire day… trying to accommodate the Roman Catholic corruption of our Messiah’s death as having taken place late on a Friday afternoon and his resurrection being on a Sunday morning at dawn. Not only is that conclusion impossible… there is no such scriptural precedent that any part of a day somehow represents the whole day.

An obvious example of this is how the 3 complete 24 hour days of our Messiah being under the power of death prophesy of the 3 complete 1,000 year divine days that creation would continue to suffer under the power of death following the death and resurrection of the Messiah before death would be defeated in all of creation.

We are told in Psalms and 2 Peter that a day is equal to 1,000 years with God and 1,000 years like a day… not ‘a part of a day is the same as the whole day’…. or ‘a part of 1,000 years is the same as the full 1,000 years’. From Christ’s death of a full 3 complete days, there will have been 3 full, complete millenniums when death will be defeated in all of creation. It is a perfect parallel, a perfect but subtle shadow prophecy… as long as we aren’t foolish enough to suggest that any part of a day is equal to a whole day and therefore the man of sin and the catholic corrupters of God’s truth can still be right about 1 night and 1 day somehow being equal to 3 days and 3 mights.
Let’s take a lesson highlighted in JJ Blunt’s book called Undesigned Scriptural Coincidences to prove this point… to validate our Creator’s righteousness and our Messiah’s testimony about his full 3 days and 3 nights of death. We will compare the Mark & Luke accounts of the women who purchased and prepared spices for the burial of Jesus.

Mark 16:1-2 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre

Timing is the critical issue to examine here. Note that after the sabbath was past these women purchased spices with the intention of anointing the dead body of Jesus. Luke’s account of this same incident is curiously different.

Luke 23:55 through chapter 24:1

And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. 56And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

24:1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.
In this account Luke tells us the women prepared the spices before the sabbath.

JJ Blunt’s intention was addressing the critics of the Bible objecting to how these women could prepare these burial spices before the sabbath (as Luke records) while not even purchasing them until after the sabbath (as recorded in Mark’s account). The critical suggestion was that these sad Jewish zealots couldn’t even collaborate on the simplest details to try to keep their stories straight. That shallow foolishness has been presented as supposed proof the Bible is not inspired by an omniscient Creator, freeing us to worship ourselves.
Blunt points out in his book that these Bible critics were unaware that there were almost always two sabbaths during a week with a Passover. The High Sabbath on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread that was always on the 15th day of the first month… and the usual 7th Day sabbath on Saturday. On the year of our Messiah’s crucifixion the 15th day of the first month fell on a Thursday.
Here is the time-line:

Jesus dies very late on a Wednesday afternoon, just before that Thursday high Sabbath of the 1st day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread that starts at sunset, as the Jewish day always began at sunset on the basis of the Creator’s pattern during the 6 days of creation when He describes each day as the evening and the morning.

Jesus is dead…. the first of the 3 nights is Thursday… the High Sabbath. It was too late on Wednesday for the women to go buy burial spices. Everyone was surprised how quickly Jesus died from his crucifixion. Ordinarily it took days to die on a cross. Jesus died in a highly appropriate 6 hours with 3 hours of daylight and 3 hours of night-like darkness. That was no coincidence as it fits within an extreme 3 plus 3 pattern saturating scripture.
The next day – the 2nd day of his death, the day after the High Sabbath, is Friday, beginning at sunset. On that Friday morning, the women go to the marketplace to buy the spices for Christ’s burial… exactly as Mark’s account tells us… after the Sabbath – after that first High Sabbath.

On Friday afternoon, as the Saturday Sabbath approaches, they prepare the spices they purchased that morning. They prepare the spices just before the Sabbath, exactly as Luke highlights. But that Sabbath Luke was referencing was the ‘Saturday’ Sabbath while the Sabbath Mark was referencing was the High Sabbath on Thursday… perfectly satisfying the timing descriptions that are impossible if the Saturday Sabbath was the exclusive Sabbath reference in both accounts.
So now it is the 3rd night… Saturday from sunset to sunrise… the last night of our Messiah’s death. The 3rd day is from Saturday sunrise to just before Saturday sunset. Jesus is alive again just, at least alive mortally, before the end of that Sabbath Day.. just as the angel testifies in Matthew 28: 1-6 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. 2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: 4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. 5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. 6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
The angel’s testimony about Jesus being alive again is described as being at the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, which began at sunset. It was still that Saturday Sabbath when Jesus rose to life again, although that would be to mortal life.. making Jesus the 7th to experience a resurrection… and on that 7th day. There were 6 that preceded him. In fact three of them he had personally raised from the dead… the widow of nain’s son, the daughter of Jairus and Lazarus. The three before that were the son of the widow of Zarephath, the son of the Shunamite woman and the man whose corpse touched the bones of Elisha and came back to life.

Jesus was the 7th in scripture to experience a resurrection to mortality and that happened on the 7th day. He would rise to immortal life a short while later but on the next day, the first day of the week… the day after the Sabbath – which was the 7th day, therefore in a sense that day after the Sabbath when Jesus rose to immortality would also qualify as an 8th day… which is highly significant and appropriate as 8 is the divinely appointed number associated with immortality, infinity and salvation.

This is why Jesus is the man of eights. Jesus experienced both resurrections… both death to mortal life as well as death nature or mortality to immortality… but appropriately on separate days, but that was probably not a very long time between those 2 categories of resurrections. He was the 7th on that 7th day and he was the 8th on the eighth day. Although that 8th resurrection experience qualified as an entirely new category of resurrection.

This was the resurrection to immortality, making Jesus the firstfruits from the grave. The 6 that preceded him had never experienced that resurrection to immortality. They had all died again. Jesus would not and will never die again.
Jesus was dead for three days and 3 nights… just like Jesus testified… just like the endless scriptural shadow patterns confirm.
Day 1: Thursday from sunset to sunrise Thursday from sunrise to sunset High Sabbath
Day 2: Friday from sunset to sunrise Friday from sunrise to sunset
Day 3 Saturday from sunset to sunrise Saturday from sunrise to sunset 7th Day Sabbath
Before the Sabbath was ended, the women went to the tomb, so that immediately after the Sabbath was concluded, they could start their work with the burial spices they had bought Friday morning after that Thursday High Sabbath and prepared Friday afternoon before the 7th day Sabbath had begun.

But Jesus had already risen… exactly 3 days from his late Wednesday death just before sunset. We might ask…Why is it so significant that Jesus should be dead for 3 days? Actually there are a number of answers that all blend perfectly. We already noted that the 3 days Jesus was under the power of death is a projection of the limit of the power of death continuing for no more than 3 divine days of 1,000 years each.
Just as Jesus was reconciling mankind to his Father through his 3 days of death, so that reconciliation would be antitypically and completely realized over 3 divine days of 1,000 years each. Just as death had dominion over our Messiah for 3 days, so death’s power over creation is limited to three divine days of 1,000 years each, following our savior’s death and resurrection. We’ve noted this in the past… the scriptural shadow pattern of the 3rd and the 7th day. We considered that when we reviewed the ritual of being reconciled from the touch of death defilement by being sprinkled with the ashes of the red heifer on the 3rd and 7th days. We noted how that actually prophetically projects the same divine day of the 7th millennium. That will be the 7th 1,000 year divine day from creation when death was imposed on a previously very good creative order and also the 3rd 1,000 year day from the death and resurrection of our Messiah that licenses the elimination of death in the 3rd and 7th day. We also noted that just as this is expressed as both the 3rd and 7th day… there will be two immortalization events related to that same 3rd and 7th day when death defilement is resolved… when death will be swallowed up in victory… the immortalization of the saints at the beginning as well as the end of that 3rd and 7th day… the beginning and the end of the 1,000 year Kingdom ruled by Christ and the saints.
It is very clear to our particular generation that there are no partial divine millennial days being projected from these 3 days and 3 nights of our Messiah’s death. That excuse of any part of a day representing the entire day is crushed under the weight of the death’s prophetic shadow of 3 full millenniums, 3 full divine days of 1,000 years each under which all of creation will continue to suffer under the power of death.

We are about to hit the 2,000 year anniversary of those 3 days of our Messiah’s death, qualifying as 2 divine days – as a day with the LORD is as 1,000 years and 1,000 years as one day… as any Christadelphian should know. Because there will be no ‘partial’ divine days of 1,000 years that are being projected by the 3 days of our Messiah’s death, then there could have been no ‘partial’ 24 hour days defining that time when our Messiah would be in the tomb under the power of death.
It is extremely significant that Jesus was dead for 3 days, separated into 3 days and 3 nights. When we accommodate the popular misunderstanding of apostate Christianity … the Roman Catholic harlot and her Christianity daughters…. that Jesus died on Friday afternoon and rose in the darkness on Sunday morning… we not only corrupt divine testimony, we shut off our capacity for seeing eyes and hearing ears that allow us to witness that intentionally veiled glory of our Creator that is shielded for the exclusive witness of those within the enlightened community with seeing eyes and hearing ears.
Since we are maintaining this 3 day and 3 night period of our Messiah’s death is significant, then wouldn’t we see other 3 & 3 applications for a confirming veiled shadow pattern? Certainly, and we are not disappointed if we look with a child-like curiosity at this 3 plus 3 pattern.
We observed the very obvious parallel of the 3 hours of light and 3 hours of darkness during the execution process of our Messiah… his crucifixion, being one of those 3 people being executed at Golgotha. I believe this pattern of 3 days and 3 nights is an issue that had been silently shouted for about 1,500 years by the time of our Messiah’s 3 days and 3 nights in the tomb. In a similar pattern…

There were 3 rituals performed by the priests every evening and every morning, according to the requirements of the laws of the Kingdom of God. 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening, day after day… except the Sabbath day. when it was 4 and 4, as the daily burnt offering was doubled.
Those three morning and evening rituals were for the replenishing of the lampstand in the Holy Chamber and the burning of the incense in the Holy Chamber and the daily burnt offering in the Tabernacle or Temple courtyard. These are the three development stages un the processing of the saints:

1) enlightenment,
2) Commitment &
3) performance.

We will have more to say about this and how this has everything to do with why the number 12 is divinely appointed to identify the body of the faithful.
On each Sabbath that daily burnt offering was doubled… making a highly significant total of 8 burnt offerings for each week for morning and 8 for the evening and of course a total of 8 daily rituals on that weekly Sabbath. This ritual pattern of 3 at night and 3 in the day was repeated for six days each week, for week after week & year after year to maintain the spiritual life of the enlightened community.

Let’s just take a moment to directly associate this with our Messiah through the shadows of these 3 rituals. For 6 days there were 6 morning and evening rituals of 3 in the morning and 3 in the evening, but on the 7th day that pattern became 8 with four in the morning and four in the evening… as the burnt offering was doubled. It should be noted, but not studied at this time, that the daily burnt offering will be doubled again in the Millennial Kingdom… from four on each Sabbath to eight on each Sabbath, but only in the morning as there is no reported daily burnt offering described as being offered in the evening during the Millennial Kingdom. We will cover this subject when we consider the Sabbath nature of the Millennial Kingdom in the 7th millennium and how all the Sabbath laws and rituals apply to this Sabbath Kingdom we anticipate shortly.

So we have this daily ritual pattern of doubled 3’s, making 6 days of 6 morning and evening rituals and then 8 on that 7th day. Where have we seen this 3-6-8 pattern before? The substance of that shadow is our Messiah whose very name, Jesus – meaning savior, is a demonstration of this pattern with the 6 Greek alphanumeric letters adding up to three 8’s. The iota, eta, sigma, omicron, upsilon and sigma adding up to 888.

Therefore we are not inappropriate in our consideration of how these 3 morning rituals and 3 evening rituals making 6 a day for 6 consecutive days fit this pattern of the 3 hours of light during our Messiah’s crucifixion and the 3 hours of darkness for those 6 hours of his execution process…. as validating the 3 days and 3 nights our Messiah was under the power of death, which was the process by which the enlightened & faithful have been reconciled, as we see from Paul’s inspired testimony to the Romans in chapter 5 and vs 10: For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
However, we also have another creational 3 and 3 pattern repetition being silently shouted at each of us every single day, for maintaining our physical life. These are the 3 categories of sustenance we need to continue living… oxygen, liquid and solid food….. air, water and bread. We take in those 3 clean nutrition components and we expel the same 3 but in an unclean state. If we don’t take in all 3, we will die. We can’t live on oxygen and water alone, or any 2 of those components. We have to have all 3. If we don’t expel all 3 categories, that have each been corrupted by our bodies of sin-ucrsed flesh… we will die.

Having personally suffered through 5 separate abdominal obstruction surgeries I am intimately aware of the deadly danger of not expelling bodily waste. This 3 clean in and 3 unclean out creational testimony offers a validation of scriptural testimony… If Jesus did not go through that process of death for 3 nights and 3 days… we would be dead forever… with no hope of salvation, because it was his death that reconciled us to our Creator… on the basis of Jesus demonstrating our Creator’s righteousness in His judgment of death for sin in the Garden of Eden.

Just like we can’t live without all of those 3+3 components of 3 in and 3 out, so Jesus certainly had to be in the grave for us to live … for 3 days and 3 nights. Additionally We have certainly not exhausted the shadow testimony of this 3 plus 3 divine pattern. There are really quite a few… but they become invisible to us if we offer any respect whatsoever to the foolishness of the harlot church’s distortion of our Messiah’s death being on Friday afternoon and his resurrection being Sunday morning. We will have ears, but we won’t hear. We will have eyes but won’t see.
For example, that incense altar and the offering that constituted the 2nd the 3 morning and 3 evening rituals performed every day by the priests of the Kingdom of God… Interestingly, there were actually 3 sets of 3 progressive rituals where either the incense was offered or the incense altar was employed or both.

1. There was the daily progression of 3 rituals: lamp replenishing, incense burning and burnt offering. The incense burning was the 2nd in that day and night progression. Both the incense and the altar was employed in this pattern of 3 rituals.

2. There was also the 3 Day of Atonement rituals performed in the Most Holy Chamber of the Tabernacle one day every year…. with 1) the incense being burned first to save the life of the High Priest, 2) the blood of the bullock being spattered east and west across the Mercy Seat for the atonement of the family of the High Priest and 3) then 3rd the blood of the goat being spattered eastward and westward across the Mercy Seat for the atonement of the rest of the nation. There was no incense altar application, but the incense was burned in that first of the 3 rituals.

3. The third was the sin offering for the High Priest and for the Nation. There were 12 applications of blood at 3 stations in this ritual. There were 7 blood spatterings against the veil; there were four blood smearings on the four horns of the incense altar and there was one final outpouring of the remaining blood at the foot of the altar of burnt offering…constituting the 12th blood application at the 3rd station for this unique sin offering , the flesh of which was forbidden for the priests to eat and the remaining 6 components of the sin offering carcase were burned to ashes outside the camp where the ashes of the burnt offering were poured out. In this 3rd 3 stage ritual it is only the incense altar that is employed and not the incense.
In each of these 3 sets of 3 ritual stages we see the incense application presence but slightly differently… the incense and the incense altar are used in the 3 day and night rituals but there is only incense burned in the Most Holy Chamber on the Day of Atonement… with no incense altar being used at all in those 3 rituals. But in the sin offering for the High Priest or nation we only see the incense altar being used and not the incense in those 3 blood application stations of the veil the horns of the golden incense altar and the bronze altar in the courtyard. Both the incense and the incense altar are used in the morning and evening daily rituals that start and end each day.
We are specifically considering just some of the depth of the doubled 3 pattern, as in the necessary 3 days and 3 nights of our Messiah’s death, that is completely eliminated if we show any respect to the Harlot church’s delusion of a Friday afternoon death and a Sunday morning resurrection. The design of that lampstand, representing enlightenment (knowledge of what is true and eternal); this lampstand was involved in the 1st of the 3 evening and morning rituals also demonstrates this 3 and 3 pattern. As the divine design is structured with a center shaft out of which 3 shafts with a lamp at the end of each shaft extend to the left and three shafts with a lamp extend to the right. Interestingly this is the 3 plus 3 pattern is evident even just to enter the Tabernacle courtyard. Out of the 10 courtyard curtains facing the east, there were four center curtains that were considered the door to the Courtyard. They were probably drawn back and secured to facilitate that entrance. Therefore since the front of the courtyard, facing east, had 10 curtains… that leaves exactly 3 curtains to the right of the entrance and 3 curtains to the left of the entrance into the courtyard of the divine sanctuary. By the way, just as this is the pattern for the first divine Sanctuary, the alpha sanctuary at Sinai, it is the pattern for the last divine sanctuary, the omega sanctuary in Jerusalem. On each side of the gate of the Millennial Kingdom temple there are 3 chambers… to the left and to the right (Ezek 40:10; 20-21
Ezek 40:10 And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side.
These 3 examples are all shadows of the master substance of the 3 days and 3 nights Jesus was in the tomb under the power of sin. That death of our Messiah had the power to reconcile us from the curse of sin and death, but not to save us. It is on the basis of his resurrection to immortality that we can be saved. Now, just as there are 3 categories of sin: lust of the flesh, lust of the eye and the pride of life… so there are also 3 development stages of sin identified by James. He explains the first sin stage as being tempted by our own lust. There is no guilt assigned for mere temptation. After all, Hebrews tells us Jesus was tempted in all ways like ourselves, yet without sin. The second sin stage is when lust conceives and produces sin, assigning guilt and requiring repentance The third stage is when sin matures into death. Three sin categories and 3 sin development stages. Jesus interrupted that sin progression. He broke sin’s power. He certainly experienced the first stage, temptation generated from within him by that serpent philosophy that was internalized at Eden and we are born with, which is called diabolos in the New Testament. But there is no guilt in merely being tempted. The guilt is assigned when we actually choose sin over righteousness. Jesus also experienced the third stage of sin development when sin matured into death. But, he never allowed lust to conceive within him. He never permitted that 2nd sin stage. He denied the power of sin in his life and thereby broke the power of sin in his death… which is why we break the bread… why that Christ stone at Rephidim clave in two when Moses struck it with Aaron’s rod and why the temple veil was ripped in two immediately upon the death of Jesus and why the the Jordan River clave in two on three separate occasions. Those Jordan waters flowing from life to death, from Galilee to the Dead Sea, reversed when Isreal inherited the promised land under Joshua. All of these cleaving examples demonstrate how our Messiah broke the power of sin in his unbroken body. Yahweh would not allow a single bone of His son’s body to ever be broken, yet demands that unleavened memorial bread representing His son’s body of flesh – to be broken, in the memory of what His son accomplished in his death. God didn’t allow any bone of His son to be broken so that it would be more difficult for us to get this wrong.
Now let’s review the calendar. Here are things we knowThings we know:
4. Jesus died on Passover, the 14th day of the first month, late in the day.
5. This was assigned to Wednesday due to the necessary 3 days & nights of our Messiah’s death and the fact that we know he rose at the conclusion of the Saturday Sabbath following his death according to Matthew’s account where the angel testified Jesus had already risen before the conclusion of the Sabbath day, However Christ’s resurrection to immortality is revealed on what is described as early on the first day of the week… early – indicated the beginning of the Jewish day which begins at sunset, not at Midnight.
6. We also know that Jesus appeared to the disciples over the course of exactly 40 days. Since his resurrected status was revealed on Sunday, the 18th of that first month and understanding the Jewish people always had 30 days in their months, based on the common lunar calendar and not the current solar calendar, we can easily determine he had to rise to heaven on that 40th day… on the 27th day of the second month, the 40th day counting from the 18th of the previous month when he rose to immortality.
7. We also know that Pentecost, the first day of the 2nd annual divinely appointed harvest feast week, The Feast of Weeks, had to begin on the 50th day counting from the day after the waving of the firstfruits on the 2nd day of the previous harvest celebration of the Feast of Unleavened Bread… therefore the 2nd day following Passover, which would be the 16th day of the First Month. Therefore Pentecost always fell on the 6th day of the third month of every year… the 66th day of every year. But the year that Jesus died and rose saw Pentecost assigned to a Saturday, making that first day of the Feast of Weeks… a double Sabbath, both a High Day Sabbath due being the first day of one of the annual 3 harvest feast weeks and also the weekly Saturday Sabbath… a double Sabbath on that double 6 day of the 66th day of the year…. when the 120 disciples had the Holy Spirit poured out on them, that earnest of the promise of Immortalization, and demonstrating the partial fulfillment of Joel’s prophecy of the Millennial Kingdom, as Peter quotes in his address.
Now we will be referencing that calendar again but we need to move one step at a time. We will continue these considerations in our next class.
