20160128 – Thursday – All about Olive and German Charlie

imageAfter breakfast this morning I drove to the beach and walked along the foreshore for some exercise and then sat on a bench and thought peaceful thoughts for a while. The sea is absolutely essential to my daily life.

It is  a lovely day, much cooler than yesterday and the sea is a little bit choppy and a deeper blue than the pale blue of calmer days. Every day the sea, the sand and the sky are different and it is impossible for me to be there and not think about God. The blue reminds me of the band of blue around the bottom of the High Priest’s garment in the tabernacle.

Blue is the most beautiful color there is as far as I am concerned. Starting my days this way always makes me happy and makes it easier to start work on more mundane things, such as housework which I am not good at and don’t like much.

These days I have my unit cleaned once a week by a man from Uniting Care whose name is Andrew and he comes and cleans the kitchen, the bathroom and the floors and the veranda, and I look after everything else.

I have spent most of today working on posting pictures in “All about Olive” and “German Charlie,” and I finally published them this afternoon. I also spent some time looking at “OptinMonster” which is apparently a lead generation tool that can be added into WordPress. I couldn’t see the point of it unless it was a way to notify people that I have putt something new up. Anyway, that took up some of the day.

I SMSd Peter H and asked him some questions about WordPress Addins and got an SMS back asking me to be satisfied to take “baby steps” and learn things a little more slowly so he doesn’t have to answer too many questions. Poor Peter, I do try his patience.  I was never known for my patience, I am afraid,
