trailer 20160302

    My wonderful little escape machine

I had a really good sleep last night because it wasn’t a hot night like the night before. Towards morning, however, I woke up  feeling rather hot,  which is a pretty sure sign to me that I am about to have a hypo.

Because my testing equipment is filled with cheese as I have previously reported, I couldn’t check my sugar levels.

I got out of the trailer and opened the back of the car and got myself a banana and some Ryvita biscuits.

I sat down in my chair again to eat. For some reason when I have a hypo food seems to taste extra delicious. Ryvita biscuits have never tasted so good.

I checked my messages and found that my brother was expecting to meet me at North Parramatta. He could not have read my message properly, because I had told him that I still had three hours to go before I got to Parramatta.

I sent him another SMS to let you know this information.

I love my trailer. I am so grateful to my father who built it for me 32 years ago and grateful to my bogan “angels” who fixed it up from its state of disrepair so that I can now travel again.

My trailer travels so well behind my car that I hardly even know it is there. At night I have a 9 inch spring mattress to sleep on.

The weather is beautiful today. Another wonderful thing about this trip is having my GPS. I know that when Jeff and I used to do so much travel during school holidays in the early years we managed okay without GPS but then there were two of us. Now with the GPS in a position  where I can see it it is so easy to refer to it as you drive. Having GPS takes all the stress out of driving.

I drove to Parramatta Bunnings where I arrived eventually.I say eventually, because my brother didn’t manage to give me a definitive address so I ended up at the wrong Bunnings.

I asked him to find the address on Google maps of the correct  Bunnings store and send me those details which he did.

I parked my car outside Bunnings using up two car parks  and a disabled car park in the process. I hung up my disabled permit, and all was well.

Jules was there and so was my Brother’s friend John. We chatted for a while but then my brother and I got down to the main business which was to fix up all of the problems on my iPhone.

This he did and in the process also downloading some apps he thought I needed.
