20180322 – Thursday – “Small moments” – Joanie Bowen and High Tea!

Joanie Bowen (and cohorts), you have exceeded yourselves.

What a magnificent occasion you have made this “High Tea.”

This afternoon everyone at the conference extended their waist measurement by 2 inches, and I am sure that is a fact!!

EXCEPT ME!!

With amazing willpower I only ate two or three savoury finger foods, and only 1 small lemon tart with a soft marshmallow top.

How did I achieve this miracle of will power?

Well the only way possible. I got Jeannie Barton to go and get my food for me and that’s what she brought me, and that’s what I ate.

Oh, and I sat with my back to the food so that I could not see what was on the table so that the “lust of the eyes” could not kick in and overwhelm me.

I noticed that everyone else was NOT able to follow my example!!

I also came into the room early, when I was told to “touch not, taste not, and handle not,” to take photos so that you could see all the beautiful food and

EAT YOUR HEART OUT!!!
