23. Class 23- Visions of the Kingdom Age by Jim Dillingham, 2014
this is the 23rd presentation in the visions of the kingdom age series of classes presented at the Cranston Rhode Island ecclesia in the USA,
We’ve concluded a sub series in our considerations addressing the Sabbath nature of the restored kingdom that we so eagerly anticipate those considerations we’re not exhaustive by any means there’s no possible way our pitiful minds could ever pretend to plumb the whole mind and testimony of our Creator on any issue.
<iframe width=”560″ height=”315″ src=”https://www.youtube.com/embed/A0ugqJ9XUDM” frameborder=”0″ allow=”autoplay; encrypted-media” allowfullscreen></iframe>
Also we will continue to reference that Sabbath nature of the kingdom that we so desperately want to inherit. There’s always more to learn, more of that divine glory of our Creator to witness, in those two avenues of his testimony, the written and the spoken words of Yahweh, the Bible, and creation.
So our next consideration under the Visions of the Kingdom theme will address singing in the kingdom. It is certainly not any secret that there will be singing in the Millennial Kingdom. We read about that in a number of prophecies. The design of the Millennial Kingdom Temple in Jerusalem, that 4th divinely designed sanctuary of God, will have chambers for the singers. This is described in Ezekiel 40 verse 44. And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers, in the inner court which was at the side of the north gate.
Another would be Isaiah 42 starting at verse 10, where we read, Sing unto the Lord a new song and his praise from the end of the earth. Ye that go down to the sea and all that is therein. The Isles and the inhabitants thereof. Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, The villages that Kedar doth inhabit; Let the inhabitants of the rock sing, Let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory unto the Lord, And declare his praise in the islands. Well this Isaiah 42 is all about the introduction of the Millennial Kingdom as is clear in the very very next two verses where we read of a time when Yahweh will end his long self imposed silence, That extended silence, which was prophesied in Amos and Micah, we’ve referenced this. Immediately following this prophecy of the faithful singing a new song in Isa 42 that results in God’s praise among the nation’s, we see this referenced in the expressions of the islands, we read The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war. He shall cry, yea roar he shall prevail against his enemies. I have a long time holding my peace. I have been still and refrain myself. Now i will cry like a travailing one I will destroy and devour at once.
When the creator of heaven earth ends his self-imposed extended silence at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom, the faithful will sing. Another prophecy of the singing the kingdom is rathter interesting, in Isa 35 and beginning to read at verse 2, The glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, The excellency of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God. Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong fear not, behold your God will come with vengeance. Even God with a recompense. He will come and save you, then the eyes of the blind shall be opened the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap like an heart and the tongue of the dumb sing. For the wilderness show waters break out in streams in the desert.
The tongue of those that were previously dumb, in other words incapable of audibly expressing themselves, will not just speak, but also sing. Could there be any doubt that singing will be on key in perfect pitch. Perhaps that’s our default heart generated presumption but heart generated thoughts always have to be questioned and challenged as the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. So we know from Jeremiah 17, that on key harmony is certainly the correct understanding that immortal Saints will be all singing on key perfect pitch. They won’t be tone deaf. We simply have to understand why why is it absolutely necessary that the immortalized Saints will be able to sing on key, in harmony? Well first all physical imperfections will be eliminated. The deaf will hear, the blind will see, the dumb will speak, the lame will walk, the crippled will leap.
Our beloved and recently deceased sister Diane Grandsham, crippled, deformed, bedridden for most of her life, due to the multiple sclerosis she suffered, will be whole and healthy and walking and vibrant. There can be no contradictions whatsoever to our creator’s right-ness in the application of immortality, not spiritually or physically. Not in image or in likeness. His standards of creation that he originally defined as being “very good” before sin corrupted all of creation, did not include death, disfigurement, suffering, lameness, blindness, deafness or off-key singing. This is why the understanding that immortal angels can sin is such a divinely insulting understanding, as well as the understanding that We can sin but never really die, because we have that mortal souls. These delusions are insulting contradictions to our creator’s righteousness. If we do not accept the truth that sin must die, That sin cannot be eternal or equal to the eternal nature of righteousness, then we will have no place whatsoever in that eternal and exclusively “right” creational environment, when the plan of God is finished.
Let’s consider for a moment just how significant this singing issue is in relation to our hopes for the Millennial Kingdom. I had this lesson painfully slam me in the face a number of years ago at a Bible School. If that sounds too violent an expression for learning a scriptural lesson, it isn’t.This was a very humbling lesson that reduced me to tears as i listened and realized i had been completely wrong for many years. i had been tone-deaf for most of my life but certainly to that point up until just a few years ago I was completely incapable of knowing when I was singing on key or off-key, despite my very musically inclined and wonderfully singing wife patiently trying to teach me with private personal lessons and singing exercises that I so desperately asked for. I think in an emotionally defensive posture I had mentally discounted singing as close to meaningless. That it was only for the few, not for the many.
I was wrong, I was very very wrong and I will stress that it is dangerous to be wrong in our understandings of our Creator in what he appreciates and values. So I will share with you the observations that had such a powerful effect on my understandings about singing, in the context of our relationship with our Heavenly Father.
Well, during King Jehoshaphat’s reign of Judah we read how Moab, Ammon and the Edomites, the relatives of the Israelites their cousins, through Lot and Ishmael formed an army to attack Jerusalem. They we discovered just within a two day march of Jerusalem, by Engedi, on the coast of the Dead Sea. Jerusalem panicked. King Jehoshaphat directed everyone to trust Yahweh. One of the singers, one of the descendants of Asaph, that Asaph that had led the choir when David was king. This descendant was inspired by God to prophesy, that the children of Judah would not have to fight but would witness the complete defeat of their enemies, literally their own relatives who wanted to kill them and steal all their assets.
Well let’s read. 2 Chron 20 starting in verse 20. And they rose early in the morning and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoah. And as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me O Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalme, believe in the Lord your God so shall you be established. Believe his prophets so shall you prosper. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, that should praise the beauty of holiness as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the lord for his mercy endures forever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir, that is the Israelites, which were come against Judah, and they were smitten. For the children of Ammon, Moab, stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them. And when they had made an end of the of the inhabitants of Seir, everyone helped to destroy another. And when Judah came toward the watchtower in the wilderness they looked into the multitude and behold they were dead bodies, fallen to the earth and none escaped. And when josh fat and his people came to take away the spoil of them they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves more than they could carry away. They were three days in gathering of the spoil it was so much.
The singers were in front where ordinarily the greatest and most competent warriors would be positioned to blunt the charge of the enemy. When they began to sing was when Yahweh said ambushments against the invaders, who destroyed each other leaving the Israelites to strip the valuables from their dead bodies. It took a full three days just to carry away all the wealth from that suicidal massacre. It was when the faithful began to sing, when the saving power of Yahweh acted against the enemies of the children of God. If you think that account might be a powerful validation of the significance of singing, in relation to our worship and appreciation for our Creator, listen to this observation. That embarrassingly escaped my attention for decades.
In 2 Chron Ch 5, starting in verse 13, we read. And it came to pass as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice, and the trumpets and symbols and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, Saying, For he is good and His mercy endures forever, That then, the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord, so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud. For the glory of the Lord had filled house of God. When the singers and musicians began to sing and play, as one, that was when the cloud filled the temple, forcing the mortal priests out of the temple. This was the observation that put the nail in my heart condemning me for being so terribly wrong for so long discounting the significance of singing and music in our worship patterns. The defining issue for the value of the singing is a timing identification for the cloud that filled the temple when the singers sang and the musicians played.
Now I understood the significance of the cloud, but not the singing, at least not at that time. So are we aware what this cloud represents, from a divine testimony perspective? I mean, all through Scripture, clouds consistently project the presence, power, glory and nature of the creator of the universe. The three records of the Transfiguration on the Mount, feature the cloud of God’s presence and testimony. In Luke’s third account we see how that cloud is expressed is actually embracing all seven on that Mount, being God, Jesus, the 3 living, and the two dead. This incident is described as being about 8 days from the promise that there were some standing there that would not taste death before witnessing the kingdom of God.This record is a shadow projection of the third and final immortalization in the 8th millennium, that 8th divine day just beyond the Millennial Kingdom, when Christ will deliver up the kingdom to his father and God will be all in all.
This is exactly the inspiration for Paul’s comforting statements to the Thessalonian ecclesia, who had lost loved ones from the ecclesia. He quotes from Luke’s account of the Transfiguration when he declares that following judgment, the living will join the previously dead in the air, and the cloud, where they will ever be with the Lord. Both that cloud and air are divinely appointed symbols of immortality, qualifying right down to a molecular and atomic structure. That same substance is projecting the shadow of that cloud of God’s presence when it filled that temple. Just as it did in the tabernacle, at its dedication.
That tabernacle and temple served as divine sanctuaries shadowing how Christ and the Saints will serve as the real, the anti typical sanctuary, for the Creator, where he will finally take his rest. Christ and the Saints are the substance casting the wilderness tabernacle and temple shadows, with all their components, dimensions, design and activity.
Understanding how the cloud of Yahweh’s presence filling the temple qualifies, upon the beginning of the singing, qualifies as a snapshot of immortalization. This is validated by the testimony that the clot that this cloud caused the priests, those mortal priests, to exit that temple and that Tabernacle at each of their dedicating ceremonies. This completes the immortalization snapshot, as the Immortals that will not be embraced by that immortalization cloud representing the marriage of the lamb, will be dispatched from the judgment, just like the five unwise virgins just like the lazy wicked servant, that lied about hiding the talent due to a very absent fear of his judge. Just like the goats within the enlightened community that wouldn’t clothe feed comfort and provide for the least of Christ’s brethren. And like the tares that are separated from the wheat and burned before the wheat is stored in the barn as presented in Christ’s wheat and tares parable of the kingdom. Of course those mortal priests had to exit the tabernacle and temple at their dedications, when the cloud of the always presents filled each sanctuary, because that will happen for real when the faithful are born again into the Divine Spirit nature, when Yahweh fills them, hopefully, us with His Holy Spirit. So the point is that it was when the singers lifted up their voices with the trumpets and symbols and instruments of music, that this was the divine signal to fill the sanctuary with that cloud. I can tell you that understanding that realization cut through my heart like a two-edged sword as that is an incredibly powerful demonstration of the significance of singing in our worship pattern.
So I think we’ve certainly demonstrated the significance of singing in relation to our pursuit of our creator’s righteousness and praise in the hope of salvation, so now we still have to ask that always highly significant question why? Why was it significant the singers led Jehoshaphat’s procession against their enemies. Why was it that the singing initiated Yahweh’s powerful defense of the faithful. Why was it that singing was the signal for the cloud shadow of immortalization to fill the temple at its dedication. The answer is that singing is a demonstration of the complete divine plan and also highlights one of the great misunderstandings being promoted within the enlightened community in this last generation of the ecclesial age. The Christadelphian choir at the dedication of Solomon’s Temple would have presented a perfect harmony of wonderfully blending sounds that defines the very principle of God manifestation, where everything blends together perfectly, to create an exponentially greater value than the sum of the individual parts. This is the challenge between the very different principles of unity and harmony.
Now this subject was initially addressed in presentation number 15 where we considered the difference between unity and harmony and the difference between society’s false definition of what constitutes peace being the absence of disturbance, as opposed to our creators understanding of what constitutes peace, being the presence of harmony. The absence of disturbance but the presence of harmony. We are now simply validating those correct, but counterintuitive understandings, in the context of singing,as we’ve always maintained when something is divinely right that rightness that righteousness can be demonstrated in many separate but intervalidating ways because are craters communications are three-dimensional they blend perfectly at every avenue of examination when they are understood correctly. We noted in that 15th presentation how unity is pursued through a toleration of diversity, while harmony requires complete agreement without diversity. As opposite as night and day. As opposite as death and life. We noted how we define the country of my residency as the United States of America and how incredibly ludicrous it would be to call it the harmonious States of America. While United States is perfectly legitimate, and entirely accurate, harmonious States would be absolutely laughable and absurd.
Let us put this in a music perspective. Unity would demonstrate an orchestra warm up. before the performance when all the instruments are united in sound but that sound is not coordinated. However the symphony performance would demonstrate the far greater standard of harmony, when all the various instruments are in complete accord with each other. Unity is the dramatically lower goal of the flesh, pursuing a toleration of disagreement to generate a fake sort of peace, mankind’s very limited definition of peace which is the absence of the turbulence. As we have repeatedly noted in this continuing series the divine definition of peace is the presence of harmony without a toleration for diversity. Harmony is the synergistic value achieved through complete agreement and coordination, eliminating anything that is not harmonious. That defines the ultimate divine plan when all that is flesh will be cut away after the 3rd and final immortalization in that 8th divine day following the Millennial Kingdom.
The true understanding of peace is the declaration of the principle of God manifestation. When God will be manifested everywhere in everything, both physically and spiritually. God manifestation is basically multitudinous singularity. Many separate components that blend perfectly and harmoniously into a single comprehensive whole. The concept in our society that projects this principle of God manifestation, that multitudinous singularity is synergy, where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Where there is a miraculous unexplainable exponential explosion of value on the basis of a harmonious blending of components which is demonstrated in an orchestra and a choir, where many sounds blend harmoniously and in complementary fashion into a single musical expression.
By the way this is exactly the way Bible knowledge should be pursued, understanding that everything has to fit together absolutely perfectly without any contradictions whatsoever. This is the path to true enlightenment, understanding our creator’s testimony in the context of a symphony of testimony the most beautiful and rapturous symphony and choir presentation of all.
Now this societal and scientific understanding of synergy is actually a feature of creation or as the sons of men would prefer to define it, a feature of nature, when separate components are blended into a cooperative whole there is an exponential benefit. This is what is called synergy. For example the V formation of geese of their flying north or south. The geese benefit from the air flow of the geese in front of them and they enjoy a capacity to fly 70% further than they could on an individual basis. The geese share the benefits of their coordinated flight, regularly trading that hardest leadership point at the front of the V. This is synergy where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts, due to the presence of a coordinated harmony. A single flock of birds that is not coordinated does not enjoy that energy value, as a united flock all flying at the same time in much the same place, but it’s not a harmonious flying pattern, and therefore there is no synergistic value, no harmony, offering any exponential value. This magical miraculous exponential benefit from synergy is counterintuitive like most aspects of divine truths and principles, which is why false doctrine is regularly the exact opposite of divine truths. Tolerating incorrect understandings may seem like the the polite thing to do from a human social perspective, but the toleration of diversity is the basis of unity and certainly not harmony.
Let’s take the example of the jet engine, capable of providing the necessary energy for providing tremendous thrust. Now this has dramatically changed our accessibility to the entire world making everything on our planet accessible, in a matter of hours. We can go to the other side of the world in less than a day. The problem with creating an engine capable of generating that level of energy is the amount of heat that it generates until the synergistic value found in the combination of chrome nickel and steel, any former engine would have melted from the heat generated to produce the level of thrust in a jet engine. This is an example of synergy where the whole is far greater than the sum of the parts.
Synergy a feature of our natural order. the creative order, is a divine expression of the eternal principle of the exponential benefits of God manifestation, that perfect harmony that peace achieved by a total perfect coordination, and not simply tolerating diversity, as is demonstrated in the pursuit of mere unity. Our society often expresses the idiom that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. But the principle of synergy demonstrates exactly the opposite effect, and we can demonstrate this in the consideration of this synergistic blending of metals in that jet engine. Iron has a PSI of 60,000 in other words psi pounds per square inch a device exerting 60,000 pounds of pressure per square inch can break an iron bar. A bar of chromium of the same size will break in about 70 thousand psi. A bar of nickel 80 thousand psi.
Well in the production of chrome nickel steel is used in jet engines there’s another proximately 50,000 psi that comes from carbon and some other minor components. If we combine these metals mix these together then according to the intuitive thinking that a chain is only as strong as its weakest link then a bar of this combination of metals should break at 50,000 or perhaps 60 thousand psi, as these components offer that supposedly weakest link in the combination. But that isn’t what happens the PSI of chrome nickel steel is actually 350 thousand pounds per square inch, 7 times greater than that weakest link. This resulting strength is even greater than combining, simply adding up,the various strengths being combined, fifty, plus sixty plus 70, plus 80, that’s almost 260,000 pounds per square inch. Where did that additional 90 thousand psi come from? Why doesn’t chrome nickel steel demonstrate the weakness of its weakest component, Or perhaps be limited by its single at least be limited by a single strongest component the answers is synergy when the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. Synergy is creations testimony to the incredible value that will be a realized when all that is diverse from our Creator will be eliminated following that third and final immortalization at the end of the millennial kingdom. When that last enemy death is eliminated.
In fact this principle is also demonstrated during the millennial kingdom when sin is chained in the bottomless pit. We read in Revelation 20 how the serpent, that dragon Satan and Diabolos will be bound and cast into a pit. That way that’s simply restraining of sin during the millennial kingdom, that reduction in diversity from our craters principles and righteousness, on the basis of global enlightenment brings an absolute explosion a benefit. There is a rest from the effects of sin in that Sabbath Kingdom with a dramatic reduction in danger both from war and from violent animals. There will be biological changes where vicious carnivorous beasts like lions become herbivores. There will be an extension of mortal life so tha a man dying at one hundred years old, he will be mourned as if you were only a child dying with most of his life before him.
Agricultural bounty will dramatically increase. New agricultural species will eliminate hunger and offer valuable medications reducing disease. There will be no more crib deaths in Jerusalem. The resulting benefits from that elimination of diversity or the reduction of diversity from divine truths and principles, is exponential. We, as the enlightened community, should be very wary when any among us promote the idea of fellowship unity based on a greater and greater toleration of diversity. The pursuit of mere unity among men at the expense of harmony with God does not respect divine principles. Unity is a false goal. Unity has promoted our presumption of lovingly accepting greater and greater diversity but in reality that is an inappropriate inversion of our love’s, loving man more than loving God. The divine goal is complete agreement with the creator’s truths his righteousness.
This is why we have a statement of faith. This is why we have baptismal interviews in order to pursue that divinely intended goal of harmony with God, complete agreement with our Creator. Just like how many voices sing the same song the same hymn, in complete harmony. This is the principle behind the value of music and singing.
A chord is the harmonious blending of several individual and separate notes blended together. A choir is the blending of many singing voices, individual singing voices, presenting a single musical expression based on harmony. So there certainly will be singing in the Millennial Kingdom as it is an expression of the Divine Plan. Now let’s bring this full circle let’s look at one of those references to singing in the Sabbath Kingdom. In Revelation 15 beginning at verse 2, And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire and then that had gotten the victory of the Beast and over his image and over his mark and over the number of his name. stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God and the song of the lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works Lord God Almighty. Just and true are thy ways thou king of saints. Who shall not fear thee O Lord and glorify thy name, for thou only art holy for all nations shall come and worship before thee, for thy judgments are made manifest.
The immortalized Saints sing the song of Moses which is the song of the lamb, praising creator and celebrating how the entire world will recognize his righteousness and greatness and holiness, when his judgments are witnessed. Let us reference that song of Moses offer just after the elite Egyptian cavalry was decimated in the Red. A snapshot of how the nations will come to fear Yahweh when his judgments are made manifest. We read in Exodus chapter 15 starting at verse 1, Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord and spake saying. I will sing unto the Lord for he hath triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.The Lord is my strength and song and he has become my salvation. He is my God and I will prepare him an habitation.
This is the focus of the entire plan of the Creator. People that prepare themselves to be a habitation, a tabernacle a temple for our God. We began considering this issue back in presentation number 17, asking why the Creator rested on that seventh day of the creation week. I mean it isn’t like Yahweh would be exhausted after such a busy week or need a nap or a vacation day. His energies are limitless. We looked at the subject of that rest that our Creator projected in that seventh day of creation that foundational shadow for the shadow of all Sabbath rest considerations. In the middle of a highly detailed set of prophecies about the Millennial Kingdom we read in Isaiah 66 starting at verse 1, in the middle of this millennial kingdom prophecies Thus saith the Lord the heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool where is the house that you build unto me and where is the place of my rest for all these things have mine hand made and all these things have been, saith the Lord. But to this man will I look even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit and trembles at my word God. God defines the place of his rest as being faithful people who have prepared these habitations for him, just like it is in the song of Moses, these habitations are themselves or hopefully ourselves. It isn’t magnificent temples or a gold filled tabernacle our Creator looks to for a place where he can truly rest. Those were only shadows. The substance casting those shadows would be the enlightened faithful with a poor and contrite spirit that tremble at his word.
We also saw how this understanding is expressed that this understanding presented in the song of Moses, that is also the song of the lamb. In Isaiah 57 and verse 15, For thus saith the high and lofty one that inhabits eternity whose name is holy. I dwell in the high and holy place with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, to revive the heart of the contrite ones. This is the thought that is expressed by Jesus at that last supper when he’s asked about his misunderstood comments about having to leave his disciples in order to prepare mansions in heaven for them, and then returning to them to take them to himself that they may be where he is.This is a declaration of the Salvation process, the change in nature for the faithful. Paul refers to these mansions brought from heaven by Jesus as tabernacles made in heaven without hands, that are given to the faithful so they might no longer be naked before God, when mortality is swallowed up by life.. From 2nd Corinthians 5, Stephen quotes from that Isaiah’s prophecy that we read in chapter 66 that we read in chapter 66 just before Stephen is stone to death by the enlightened community. We read in verse 54 of Acts 7 how the Jewish brethren reacted to Stephen’s testimony. We read, When they heard these things they were cut to the heart and they gnashed on him with her teeth.
And we read in verses 57 to 58 how they dragged him outside the city and bludgeoned him to death with stones. So what was it that sparked this murderous rage? Here’s what we read in the previous 8 verses from verse 46 to 53 where we hear Stephen say, David who found favor before God and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob. But Solomon built him in a house. And here is where Stephen quotes directly from Isaiah 66, Continuing, Howbeit the most high dwells not in temples made with hands as saith the Prophet. Heaven is my throne and earth is my footstool. What house will you build unto me? And what is the place of my rest. Hath not my hand made all these things? Now immediately following this specific quote from Isaiah is where Stephen addresses the enlightened communities historic resistance to serve as those personal habitations, for God he says, verse 51, You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears. You do always resist the Holy Spirit as your father’s did, so do you. Which of the prophets have not your father’s persecuted and they have slain them which showed before of the coming of the just one of whom you have now been the betrayers and murderers who have received the law by the disposition of angels and have not kept it.
Just before this appropriate rebuke, highly appropriate rebuke, of the enlightened community in a covenant relationship with God, therefore qualifying as Christadelphians, as we are the enlightened community in a covenant relationship with God. We are not independent from the Jewish community when Paul describes us, the Gentiles, as being grafted into the Jewish olive tree. Well just before this rebuke Steven recounts that verse that answers why God rested on that seventh day in the creation week, shadow projecting the rest he will take in the 7th millennium, in the Sabbath Kingdom, which is our primary subject. But the enlightened community from Cain to our generation has always hated the watchman. Those who highlight our failures and warn us of the dangers being invited by our failures. Fortunately today we do not have the freedom to execute each other, we simply have the ecclesial disciplinary rule of withdrawing fellowship. which is simply a procedure demonstrating the grace that is an educational focus of the ecclesial age with a focus on lovingly reclaiming through ecclesial discipline and not destroying.
Today we see the same resistance to the watchman’s cry of danger within our community however this highlighting of ungodly behavior and doctrine in our community by the watchman is often resisted as being unloving, unforgiving and disruptive to unity. It is even promoted that the ecclesial age and the enlightened community should have no fear of God’s displeasure. That the fear of God has somehow been diminished for us into nothing more than the pleasant comfortable aspect of reverential fear. These highly inappropriate scriptural misrepresentations discourage the watchmen in our community, who witness to our community’s declining standards. The thing we should remember about the silent watchman is said God assigns the guilt of those were actually doing the failing to the silent watchman who refuses to sound the alarm concerning the extreme dangers of ungodliness in the enlightened community.
Silence is not golden in relation to the watchmen’s responsibility. Silence can be quite deadly. We see manifestations of this inappropriate attitude all through our community, such as the common Bible School silence rule that no controversial subjects can be discussed during Bible schools. This ungodly gag order presumes that it’s supposedly far more important that we Christadelphians just get along, than we defend our creator’s righteousness from those who promote false understandings in our community.
Therefore the speaker is teaching the growing clean flesh heresy, partial atonement, theistic evolution. That we have no reason to ever be afraid of God’s anger. That forgiveness is automatic and salvation is all but guaranteed. These challenges to our creator’s righteousness go un-addressed at all our bible schools because our community pursues unity among men as opposed to harmony with God. Just like the enlightened community that murdered Steven for being an un-silent watchman. Our calling is to harmony with God based on complete agreement not unity among men based on an increasing toleration of diversity. We are supposed to be the orchestra performing the symphony, not the independent musicians united in warming up their instruments at the same time. We are supposed to be the geese flying in that V formation not just an uncoordinated flock of birds. Yes, there will definitely be singing and music in the Millennial Kingdom. However why there will be music and singing is a declaration of the divine principles being demonstrated in the beautiful coordination of voices and instruments for ears that can hear.
Our next consideration, and it will be another Why consideration, as in Why our creator repeatedly defines the enlightened community bearing his name in the context of the number 12. This has a great deal to do with those 4 divinely divine sanctuaries that served as only shadows of our creators intended habitations.
