20190326 – Tuesday – House Cleaned

I think I have mentioned that I cancelled Netflix, firstly because of how hard it is to find a “decent” movie to watch.

The language in so many modern movies is so bad, and I was finding that swear words were popping into my head all the time and I HATE swearing.

And there is so much violence! 

I found I was watching so many movies only to find them unfit for any decent person’s ears, and so after only ten minutes I would have to get out of that movie and look for something more  suitable.

It all got too hard, so I opted out of netflix.

Then I decided to pay for uTube membership which was even more expensive than Netflix.

It costs around $19 per month.

But the difference is unbelievable.

You can choose a movie by how many people have watched it and so I look for a movie that has had millions who have watched it. 

Such movies are generally older films from yesteryear and they are good quality and do not pollute the mind with swearing and such.

But now I have a new problem, there are so many “good” movies, that I am watching too much of them.

So everything needs to be balanced. 

So now I am striving for a mix of good audio books, good movies, but only in small doses, so that I have plenty of time for Bible study and reading and note taking.

Keeping a good balance in all things is not easy to achieve.

Today, a cleaner came from the West Torrens Council to clean my unit.

So I am sitting in my newly cleaned flat after having made myself an omelet for breakfast, and I am feeling rather good.

It is not long to my operation, and I have just had a phone call from my Melbourne daughter, asking me if I would like to have her come to Adelaide to be with me before and after my operation.

And so my daughter is going to see if it is possible for her to come.

If she can/does, then that will make me VERY happy.
