20190529 – Wednesday – Alison

Everyone needs a friend like Alison!

Alison came to my place today at around lunch time, bringing her granddaughter Eva with her, and also our lunch, a lovely salad and soup.

She was here to help me sort myself out after being away from home and having my knee-replacement and the unwanted, and unexpected stroke that went with it.

I had told her that my unit was badly in need of reorganisation and that I was unable to do much about it at present.

So she had come to help.

She came with a scrubbing brush and assorted cleaning equipment and so after lunch she set to work, and when Alison sets to work, she REALLY sets to work.

Well, it is just after 5.00 pm, and Alison has just left with Eva to go home.

And my unit? Well, Ali has rearranged and cleaned everything in sight.

I live in a very small space with a bed living room, a small kitchen and bathroom and a verandah.

After Ali left, I had a new corner where I can eat my meals, and a place for me to work on my ipad with a lamp and place to charge my batteries.

This leaves my with a small sitting room and with a settee and my desk and computer, and a small table to work on and to sit and read.

It is a much better set up than I have managed to achieve on my own.

As I said, everyone should have an Alison!!

With my new RC air conditioner, I am now going to be so warm and comfortable this winter. 

So thank you dear Alison for being so good to me.
