20180822 – Wednesday – Susie

I worked for most of the day and then finally ventured out into the world around 4.00 pm in the afternoon.

I went to the cafe on Broadway, just down from Susie J’s place.

I sent Susie a message,

“Are u home by any chance? I am at the coffee shop at the corner of your street. Want a coffee?”

I received a message back,

“Oh dear not home will be later if your would like to drop in.”

“Sure,” I replied, “What time do you expect to be home?”

Susie: “Bad traffic probably 25 mins. I will sms when I’m home, welcome to stay for humble tea.”

Fay: “Humble visitor accept humble T from humble Susie – bread and scrape will do. Are you texting and driving????

Susie: “No Steve is driving. Oh dear, have run out of petrol?? We are walking to tram and then home so will let u know xx.”

Fay: “ How come you ran out of petrol?”

Susie; “Cos I haven’t had a dashboard for 6 years!!”

Fay: “HaHaHa, of course you haven’t! Oh Susie, I have been laughing at you for years now!!

So, Susie eventually arrived home and Steve and Susie both cooked the meal and I had a lovely time with them both.

Then it was off to South Adelaide for a night around the book of Luke.

It was a great night. We don’t have a class leader at South, but there is plenty of discussion, and lots of great thoughts and quite a bit of dissenting between us as we search for “truth.”

Adrian and Carol and Nigel and Mickey have plenty to say as do I.

So home at last and to bed. Listened to Study 13 somewhere between night and dawn, and then a message from Susie first thing.

“ Hiya Steve thinks his. Phone may have dropped in your car sorry about this, always drama as you say! If your up could you do a mother’s look please Xxx, it’s all black.”

Fay: “Of course it did, I’ll bring it round in half an hour!

Susie: Steve can collect i. Don’t come out of your warm den!

Fay: “OK.”

So that was a “normal” start to my day!!
