20180823 – Thursday – Fixing lights

I received a text from Susie asking if I had “had my nana nap,” because if I had, Steve wanted to come around and install new fleuro lights in my flat.

So Susie and Steve came around and while I sat on my couch, Steve perched precariously on a ladder and installed new lights.

I have been without two main lights in the ceiling for simply ages and so the one remaining light did not light my room very well.

So the addition of two new working lights was simply dazzling!

Susie decided to vacuum while she was here, and so soon that was done too.

I love my friends.

But, best of all, VERY best of all, Stevie looked at my trailer and the bent tow bar, and said he could fix that too!!!!

He says that he will make me an entirely new tow bar with jockey wheel attached and EVERTHING fixed thereon.

It will take him a while to do, because he will have to store trailer at Josh’s place because he has a yard big enough to store said trailer.

So that makes me so happy. If I can get my trailer functional AGAIN so that I can manage it, the putting on and off, by myself, then there can be week ends at Victor or wherever, WHENEVER!!

So, I am going to leave the mattress out of the trailer in the meantime, and when Stevie can manage it, he will take it away o Josh’s place.

After Steve and Sue left, leaving my unit somewhat tidier than it had been in the morning, I packed up and went to Ali and Trev’s place for dinner.

Had a lovely catch up with Ali and Trev, recounting all my adventures and hers, since I left home on March 10, 2018 and finally came back in the middle of August to dear old FRIGID SA.

Ali told me that she will be traveling up to Lismore in September to stay with Jenny Shaw and so she will get to see all my Lismore friends, (Pam S, Ros N, Tysons and Wassell’s etc), so look after her while she is there, all you my friends, she is my very dear friend.

Here are many of my Lismore friends who have become very dear to me. Especially the Smith’s and the Nortons and the Shaws and the Tysons and the Wassell’s and the Sainsbury’s, and I could go on and on.
