Since I am putting up Jim Dillingham’s Visions of the Kingdom, I thought I might just as well put up a photo of Jim.
I love his studies because of his explanation of the types and shadows of the Law of Moses and also of his explanations of how numbers are used in the Bible.
Heb 11v1 says that “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Since listening to Jim’s studies I understand this verse so much better.
“Faith is the substance” and therefore faith is like a rock that casts a shadow, and there can be no shadow without “substance.”
So faith is the shadow of “the rock” which is Christ.
