20190312 – Tuesday – Flinders Medical Centre

This morning I received a phone call from Flinders Medical Centre. 

It was for my booking at Flinders for a knee-replacement operation.

I can hardly believe that I am really going to have that operation.

So my first appointment is on 21st March at Flinders on Level 2 where I go to the admissions desk.

Then to the SA Pathology for a blood test, on level 2

At 11 am to the 2nd X-ray waiting area for an X-ray Aldo on level 2.

Then downstairs to admissions where someone will come to pick me up.

So there we go. And I have to remember to take my blood-pressure drugs and also my insulin.

Ahhg!  I hate hospitals.

But I do want to be able to walk again.

But I would prefer to hear Jesus words, “rise up and walk,” but that is not likely to happen just yet.

I am sitting here in my little unit waiting for someone to come from the council to assess my unit for domestic cleaning.

Hopefully I will be able to have someone come and clean for me once a fortnight, or month.

Yesterday I sorted out my problems with “Audible.” 

I was getting emails from audible with book offers, but when I took them up and purchased them (for $0.00) they never appeared in my “library.” 

I eventually found that I was a member both of Audible Australia and Audible USA, and being charged monthly from both places!!!

So I cancelled the Australian membership and kept the American 1.

So hopefully the problem is fixed.

With computers there is always something!

Jan W contacted me about picking me up to go to the Women’s study class at Hyde Park, and told me that she had arranged for Jan Waller to take me instead of her, because the timing would be too difficult for her, having to come fromVictor Harbour.

Then Jenny S rang me and said she would be happy to take me, and so that is what is the new arrangement.

People have been so kind to me.

And now my knee replacement op coming in the middle of my “lack of license” period, will work in very well.

I guess that having a knee replacement will mean that I CAN walk once more, and that I will be needing to do lots of exercise, so that fits in with no car as well.

I am amazed how well everything is fitting together.

I never have to worry about anything, because God seems to organise everything for me very well.

I am using my audible membership quite a lot these days.

As I worked around my little unit yesterday, I listened to “the 7 habits” again and got through a large amount of  chapters listening.

Filling my head with good and valuable thoughts is the way to go, that’s for sure.

I also started work on JDs study No 28 which is one of the few studies I have not yet transcribed.

After that I only have to transcribe Studies 36 – 40.

I wrote to JD the other night and asked him what he could tell me about the 144,000.

As usual his reply came back immediately, telling me he would reply with his definition in a few days.

In a day or so, come it did.

He wrote: 

Dear Sister Fay:

The 144,000 are only referenced in Revelation and the usual interpretation mistake is oversimplification. The primary application of the 144,000 is to be sealed by God for a special application. However the 3 applications of the 144,000 in Revelation each have a different sub-application within that primary application of beings sealed by God for a special application.

It is often presumed that since Rev 14:1-3 has an obvious application to the first set of immortalized saints (the first fruits of both God and Christ and redeemed from among men and found without fault) that this must be the same application in the other 2 places we find reference to the 144,000. That is not the case.

The first 144,000 application is in Rev 7:4. It is the 12 tribes of Israel (although Joseph appropriately replaces Ephraim). This understanding fits the 3 dimensional requirement of all divine communication.

It is an angel coming from the east that seals the 144,000 in the forehead. Jesus defines himself as coming to establish the Kingdom like lightning that comes out of the east and shines to the west (Matt. 24:27).

While Jesus comes first to judge the living and the dead, he and the saints also come to save Israel from the east (Zech 14:3-4) when he stands (with the saints) on the Mount of Olives… which is east of Jerusalem. This is when Jesus and the saints save the Jews at Jerusalem from complete annihilation from the 6 nation confederacy of Russia, Iran, Lyba, Ethiopia Gomer & Togarmah.  This same event is cryptically prophesied in Ezekiel chapter 9. Sadly it is often presumed Ezek 9 is about either the Babylonian or the Roman destruction of Jerusalem by the 6 that come from the north. However that understanding rips this account violently from the context. Immediately following the destruction at Jerusalem by the 6 that came from the north is Ezekiel’s 2nd vision of the cherubim. That 2nd cherubim vision is 420 days from the first, offering one of several validations of this 2nd cherubim vision projecting the 2nd immortilization in the Creator’s plan… which is the saints at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom.

So just as Jerusalem residents are being sealed and those unsealed being slaughtered … the cherubim are seen (chapter 10). In a fascinating corroborating detail is how the last place the cherubim are seen in Ezekiel’s 2nd cherubim vision is the mountain on the east of the city… which is the Mount of Olives (Ezek. 11:23). This is exactly the geographical point the antitypical cherubim (the immortalized Christ and the immortalized saints) will be seen by those Jews that have been sealed in their foreheads to be spared from the Jerusalem slaughter. Another interesting detail is that just as one of those 6 that come from the north to slaughter at Jerusalem does not participate in that slaughter (due to marking the foreheads of those to be spared) it is 1/6th of the 6 nation Gogian confederacy that survives when Christ and the saints use that sword issuing from Christ’ mouth to command the features of creation to defend the Jewish people that have been sealed or marked in their forehead (symbolically-not literally).

This is the same image being projected by the 144,000 of all the tribes of Israel that are sealed in the forehead in Rev. 7. Also in exactly the same pattern as Ezekiel’s continuous vision in chapters 9-11… just after the 144,000 are sealed in the forehead in Rev 7 we see the immortalized saints represented as those wearing white robes made white in the blood of Christ  who shall never hunger or thirst again (Rev 7:9-17).

However the next reference to the 144,000 does not indicate the mortal Jews at Jerusalem that have been market by God for survival from the Gogian host, but actually does represent the immortalized saints at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom.  This 144,000 does represent all of the immortalized saints but only the ones immortalized at the beginning of the restored Kingdom of God… and not the ones immortalized in the 8th millennium after the conclusion of that Kingdom. We know this with absolute certainty because these 144,000 are defined as the “first fruits” of God and also Christ. Jesus was the firstfruits of God, represented as the firstfruits waved to heaven on the day after the High Sabbath on the 2nd day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread… 2 days after the Passover (which represents the death of the Messiah). The firstfruits waving represents the divine harvesting of Jesus.

The 2nd feast week (Feast of Weeks) projects the 2nd divine harvesting with the immortalization of the saints at the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom, which is why there are still “firstfruits” being waved and that is  loaves of leavened bread (clearly projecting the saving of those who have been ‘leavened’ and are dependent on grace for salvation. I believe those 2 leavened loaves of wheat bread represent the 2 categories of Abraham’s descendants:  1)Jewish descendants by birth and 2) Gentile descendants by faith.

So the 2nd 144,000 application refers to the 1st set of saints.

The 3rd 144,000 application comprehensively refers to all the saints. This too is obvious as this is the dimension of the wall of New Jerusalem is 144,000 cubits.

Rev. 21:16-17  And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

We are told this is a measure of a man, which is an angel. This is exactly how Jesus describes the salvation state of the saints (Luke 20:35-36). So this measurement certainly has to be associated with the saints. This is confirmed by the definition of New Jerusalem as a representation of the bride of Christ.

Rev. 21:9-10  And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.  And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.

However we can identify this representation of  the saints to the Post-Kingdom time when that send set of saints will have been immortalized. One proof of this is that the conclusion of the previous chapter is a description of that 2nd judgment, immortalization and the final elimination of the curse of death (death and the grave are cast into the lake of fire which is the 2nd death).

Further confirming this how chapter 21 begins with the timestamp of: And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

The description in Rev 4 for the beginning of the restored Kingdom of God defines it as having a sea of glass (meaning nations at rest and not in turmoil). However in the post-kingdom age… there will be no multiple nation distinctions at all.

So all three of the 144,000 references identify those ‘sealed’ by the Creator, however each represents a different group, although the larger 3rd 144,000 group does include the 2nd group.
